Nice impression! You were right about the collar discs. They didn't wear all the brass and stuff during combat.

Looks nice! I honestly recommend making your own custom medical items (Bandages, carlile dressings, Sulfa, etc) So you don't accidentally rip or ruin your authentic ones. Always nice to fill them with cheap modern gauze rolls or to make your own dressings, that way you can have a whole kit made without breaking the bank! Also don't forget your medical brassard! Good luck on your event! If you possibly can, try and find a 2nd canteen too, as its documented many medics had extra water for treating the wounded

I found another canteen because I do know they had two. But I can't find a canteen pouch for it lol. Thank you for the tip about making my own medical equipment I will definitely be doing that.

This was cool man, ya I wouldn’t want to bunk with anyone else either, I think the tin medical pouch is a “Carlisle bandage “, you could pack some potatoes man, this basically reminds me of myself planning out a camping trip lol, fried taters and corn beef, or spam, I like spam and potato soup, dice it up man, “you stole the potatoes from a French farm” 😉

@@thenerd1502 Personally, I do all my own helmets, I found orig helmets and liners at shows and ebay. Then got parts from JMURRAYINC1944 and restored them myself, saved a crap ton of money doing it that way. But JMurray also does sell complete restored helmets if you're not comfortable with that, however they are pricey, but the best helmets on the market.
