I MADE THIS YESTERDAY. I substituted 100g sweet potato (garnet) and it altered the recipe. It required about 1/2c more flour to bring the dough together. At that point, I worried that there wasnt enough yeast to lift the dough.... but it worked anyways! The rolls were steamy & fluffy & the whole family loved it!! Also use an immersion blender or somthing to puree the potato, unless you dont mind lil flecks in your bread. I liked it that way tho...... ANOTHER GREAT RECIPE FROM HELLY!

I have tried this recipe and it turned out well. My friends were so surprised that there’s no milk or egg in this bread yet it still soft and yummy. Thank you for all your vegetarian no knead recipes ❤️

Картошечку сварить в небольшом количестве воды.потом в этой водичке потолочь её. Добавить всё как на хлебушек. Масло вмешивать в самом конце,тогда тесто слоится. Получается очень вкусно. Можно добавить ржаную муку,одну треть от общего веса муки.

Are you weighing your ingredients? It makes a difference. I use King Arthur all purpose flour. 1 cup of that weighs 120 g. If I didn't weigh it and just used cup measurements, for this recipe 2 cups would be 340 vs 300 g. And that makes a huge difference in your dough. The same goes for liquid measurements. I always start with the lowest and add more as I work my dough. Try using the scale of you haven't.

I would bloom the yeast mixture with the sugar for a good 3 mins. Then mix the salt into the flour thoroughly, before adding to the liquid. Too easy to kill your yeast or get A sad rise. Love the recipe. It's very much like a WW1 recipe I have

I have tried several recipes of yours now (my favorite being one of your banana bread ones it was so fluffy and delicious). While mine have never turned out as pretty they have always come out as delicious! Thank you for all your uploads. They really help a beginner such as myself out
