Island was easily the best season. Every character fit their archetype perfectly, Chris was cool and not insane, and there were no bad derailments. Plus every challenge felt realistic enough and the general vibe of the show felt more carefree compared to other seasons to make it feel authentic.

I agree. Everyone says World Tour is the best, but with Team Victory, Mutant Ezekiel, Noah and Tyler being underrated and the LOVE TRIANGLE (Or better: some of the best characters' derailment), I think it's one of the worst seasons. (This is my opinion)

@@nick0911 idk about that, I've gone through a stage rn where I've binge watched all the seasons (im part way through all stars right now), and I can say tdwt was my favorite so far. with the catchy songs every episode and the traveling all over the place with many differently themed challenges based on cultures, I feel like it is one of the best. yes, Chris is spiraling into insanity after island and action, but I feel like world tour is my favorite. I don't know, maybe I'm biased because that's the one I remember most from my childhood, who knows, but that's my take

I pretty much enjoyed every season except Action. Everything just felt off that season. They ruined Trent the most. What they did to him was terrible.

The funniest part about Geoff going through the camp sewage system was the fact that he only got cologne for it; he was definitely a much better sport about that than I would've been if that happened to me 🤣

My favourite episodes are the Triple dog dare episode, brunch of disgustingness, dodgeball, fear factors, cooking showdown, the dirt bikes and the paintball hunting.

I'd say it's the 2nd best episode in Total Drama Island

I was absolutely blown away by how amazing the Geoff and Gwen friendship played out, best part of the show in my opinion, what I didn’t like though was how a few episodes later Gwen was going over everyone in the confessions and Geoff wasn’t even part of the “normal” people she met there. She grouped him with everyone else who she despised

THANK YOU i've always thought this too. the writers just forgot they ever even bonded which i'm not sure only makes next seasons with them disappointing (i haven't finished any of the other gen 1 seasons yet), but it's definitely disappointing watching the finale that comes SHORTLY AFTER and them throwing that episode away.

As a duncney fan, Basic Straining is easily my comfort episode and the best imo. After that would be Haute Camp-ture but in all reality, I love every episode of island cause it's the superior season :))

I only stan Duncney in TDI because in other series they were pretty toxic.

Personally, I would like to see you rank the songs from World Tour. Those are always interesting to me, because you can sort of learn people's taste in music from those videos.

Harold, Noah, Gwen, Trent and Duncan were all my favorites. They all had some pretty great moments this season...mostly..

Heather Gwen Duncan Leshawna Owen Izzy Geoff Lindsay Harold Courtney & somewhat DJ made the season very tolerable for me as well as Bridgette & Trent are ok to tolerable at best.

The Cooking episode is literally Top 5. The in-fighting between the Gopher girls is hilarious and so satisfying.

Very interesting ranking. I do agree with most of it though, especially the episode you placed in first place. I agree with your thoughts on the episode with the guys abusing Harold, I do agree that they took it too far. He got them back great IMO with the Courtney elimination. Total Drama Island is also my favourite season in the series, every episode is a delight to rewatch. There were many things in the season that I wish were expanded on, such as Gwen & Geoff's friendship, and to a lesser extent, Owen and Heather's interactions. All of their interactions were hilarious, especially in the tri-armed episode. Not Quite So Famous is probably the episode I remember best from my childhood, Heather's lines were great and comedic, and the comeback from Gwen with the red ants is still hilarious, lol. Izzy is probably my nostalgic favourite character from this season. She truly had some great scenes and lines in the show, and her comedy was always great. Camp Castaways and Wawanakwa gone wild are 2 additional classic episodes this season. Solid episodes all around. But, the one where Lindsay stood up for herself was even better. I loved seeing her stand up for herself, she is one of my favourite characters. The special episode (which you ranked as the best) is a great way to end the season. The interactions in this episode were all great, but Team E-Scope was my favourite. I wish that team got more screen time, they were golden. I love this episode. Great video as always man, looking forward to seeing how you rank the Total Drama Action episodes.

I definitely agree with 26. It's like Lindsay's elimination where the writers had no idea how to properly eliminate the person that they just shoehorned it in in the worst way possible that made no sense.

My siblings and I loved when Total Drama Island premiered. We watched it religiously over the summer, went on the website to play the games and check for any news, laughed and enjoyed it. It’s a memory that I can now treasure

I still think Heather reading Gwen's diary out loud was the worst thing she's ever done. Good thing she got attacked by a red ant farm for it.

Episode 25 was just PERFECTION

Yeah I definitely agree with this list with I Triple Dog Dare be higher personally the heather punishment was sooo worth the wait and watch also please rank the other seasons eps it’d be really cool imo

My ranking is: 26: Camp Castaways. I regularly forget this episode even exists. 25: Up The Creek. First of the 'Sadie lasts way too long without contributing anything to the overall plot' episodes. If it weren't for the overall funnier jokes, this one would be in 26th place. 24: The Sucky Outdoors. Average. But the start of Geoff/Bridgette was good. 23: Are We There Yeti? Average again. Just a bit better than The Sucky Outdoors. 22: Paintball Deer Hunter. Cody getting mauled was annoying, but Beth standing up to Heather was nice. Plus Duncan/Courtney. Again, Sadie lasted too long without adding anything. 21: Dodgebrawl. Noah was hilarious, if a bit frustrating, in this episode, but everyone else was really good. Justin should've been eliminated here, fight me. 20: Not-So Happy Campers - Part 1. The first episode. My main complaint is how slow it is. 19: Hook, Line and Screamer. Just fine overall. Not much to really add here, but the interactions are nice. Also, some funny Owen/Izzy moments. 18: Search And Do Not Destroy. Pretty good Gwen/Trent moments here, and generally a pretty good episode. Also, Heather definitely was a good antagonist here. 17: Phobia Factor. Sadie should've been eliminated here, and Tyler or Noah should've gone in Who Can You Trust instead. Otherwise, pretty solid. 16: Not-So Happy Campers - Part 2. The first challenge, shows nearly everyone pretty well (save for Noah.) 15: No Pain, No Game. Like Brunch of Disgustingness, this one sets up the dynamics going into the merge. Along with adding Izzy as a wild card. Eva coming then leaving immediately was fine. 14: Wawanakwa Gone Wild. Very good at bringing us into the end-game, even if this was the perfect opportunity to get rid of Heather. 13: Hide and Be Sneaky. Minus a few dumb challenge rules, pretty good. 12: Who Can You Trust? SADIE IS FINALLY GONE! Along with that, good interactions and sets Courtney up as a threat. 11: If You Can't Take The Heat. Definitely a good episode. I still have the Sadie grudge though. 10: Brunch of Disgustingness. Sets up the merge really well. All of the dynamics are great. 9: X-Treme Torture. Pretty good. Harold is hilarious in this one. 8: That's Off The Chain! Another dumb challenge rule, but Lindsay standing up to Heather was way better than Beth doing so. 7: The Big Sleep. Definitely the best starting episode. Sets up lots of dynamics - such as Gwen/Trent, and Heather's alliance. 6: Trial By Tri-Armed Triathlon. If Gwen wasn't such a big jerk in this one, it'd be higher. 5: The Very Last Episode, Really! A great finale. Each of the finalists getting help was great, even if Gwen's side was just Leshawna, Trent, Cody and for some reason Eva. 4: Not Quite Famous. Starts up more dynamics, and a fun challenge. Overall pretty fun. Now for the top three, I re-watch these a lot. 3: I Triple Dog Dare You! A really satisfying ending for Heather, and a really good challenge. 2: Basic Straining. Great challenge, and Harold's vengeance on Duncan was definitely pretty good. 1: Haute Camp-Ture. The interactions were great, Noah was very hilarious, Courtney chasing after Harold, and the start of the 'Are You Tyler?' running gag. Leshawna's elimination was dumb, but still, the rest of the episode is S-Tier for sure. Total Drama Drama Drama Drama Island is a mid-point episode between Island and Action. So I wouldn't rank it with the regular Island eps.

honestly, that argument towards the first season being the best one is beyond understandable, World tour is definitely my favorite season but there are some issues that left me either disappointed or still asking, why? all the characters, the interactions, the drama, the challenges, etc are what left me in a positive result on how i love this series so much.

I dont even think I could properly rank these episodes. That's how good and consistent season 1 was. Like yeah I have some favorites but even the ones I don't remember as well are still good.

u know im at the begnining of this video and im thinking "really these episodes this low!?" but then i realize like every episode is solid and this show is just iconic and amazing

i would love to see you rank the episodes of the other seasons. and my favorite episode is camp castaway. i just love how the final four consestants end up in a castaway scenario, while chef and chris have some relaxing bonding time. it's funny to see them bond while the contestants think tgey ended up on a deserted island and try to fend for themselves when they actually are just an island over from camp wawanakwa, it was hilarious. plus mr.coconut was an hilarious addition, along with Owens dramatic transformation into an actual island survivor in like a day.

My favorite was I Triple Dog Dare You. I loved how karma finally kicked Heather in the butt and she payed for it miserably

Isn’t karma something that happens to someone randomly for doing something mean technically Gwen and owen caused her elimination since owen spilt the freebies so obviously they’re gonna eliminate heather and heather mistakenly kicking the razor to shave her head that’s not karma imo it’s more revenge then karma

I don't know how to rank these, but I'll say one thing - I loved Hook, Line and Screamer because part of my exams in my penultimate year of school was a genre study, and the genre was horror. The whole point of the challenge was to know horror movie tropes and survive from them. Stick together (if you watch Dream Warriors, Taryn and Will get separated from the group and die, but Kincaid, Joey and Kristen manage to stick together and survive the movie - yes, all of them die in Dream Master but they stayed together at the end of Dream Warriors and made it to the end, although the end of that dream was Kristen crying with Nancy dead in her arms). There's lots of dangers - keep the right ones (Heather in a face mask shaving her legs is not any cause for alarm). Don't take a shower alone (if you don't know this rule, watch 1960's Psycho). Don't answer the door. Don't leave the house. Don't answer the phone. But most of all, don't scream. (Yeah, I think I liked this episode because it had a lot of Scream elements about horror movie tropes that had been used in the 80s and 90s). Ironically, we watched no 80s horror movies at school - we watched Nosferatu, the original 1930s Dracula and Frankenstein, then Psycho and Night Of The Living Dead (from the 60s) and The Exorcist (1973). None of those uber-popular 80s movies that put slasher horror on the map (okay, so Psycho did it, but slashers were majorly popular in the 80s...we also skipped the sci-fi horror era of the 50s).

It's been a while since I watched the series, so I'm surprised at how much I remembered! I definitely want this idea to continue for Action and the other seasons.

I would have to switch the best and worst episodes from your list. Gwen is my favorite character, and her opening of TDDDDI is definitely the stupidest plot twist of the series. Also I loved that the Brunch of Dusgustingness had a one-off team realignment for a reward challenge. It was essentially the halftime show, and it felt like a nice change of pace from the normal "one team wins, the other team votes someone off" formula.

Favourite episodes for me are the dodgeball one,the psyho killer episode, the camping episode and the episode where they face their fears

I completely agree that there was no bad Total Drama Island episode, and whenever I say “bad” while referring to total drama island episodes, I mean “least good”

Dodgebrawl was great. I loved all the challenges in Island, I think TDA is super underrated, if you look past Beth being in the finale then it’s fine. Challenges are great, Justin is great, Harold Lindsay and Duncan are fantastic. Obviously ruining Trent was stupid too. Also More contestants should have got in too. One thing I did also love about Island is Chris and his interactions with the contestants, like Trent in Phobia Factor. Also World Tour was soooo good,I would have preferred Noah InThe second chances d Cody to shine without Sierra, but it’s still great, anyway Great Vid as always dude

I love Island. But WT was just so iconic for me. I find it to be better because we already know the characters and there’s no time spent on “introducing” characters. We get to build off their arch’s from Action and Island and it just feels so good.

Not so happy campers pt2 I loved cause of the elimination ceremony. So much intensity is what I missed most about the first season he’ll the marshmallow ceremony’s were my favorite.
