What this kind person said. And the show’s creator has said that if they don’t get renewed for a 3rd season, he’ll write it as a book, so check it out anyway. We’re in a place where we’ll probably get greenlit though.

​@@LudiosAnimationsI heard Neil Gaiman already has the first and last scene of Good Omens written so if something happens (like he does or something) then at least someone can write the book or make the show and end it the way he meant for it to end. Don't know if that's true but I hope he finishes it

i love them all but the ones from 2.08 are just so special, i mean ed told stede he loves him and everything, because he found stede's letter and realized how much stede actually loves him back so it's okay, he can be vulnerable and go for what he wants, and he is just holding his face so tenderly too 🥹 . The chokehold these middle aged pirates in love have on me is insane, they are my roman empire, all i think about, night and day

Really liked the way the letter scene tied things together! It’s a nice touch that he wasn’t just rushing back because Stede was in danger, but he had that extra motivation of finding proof that Stede wanted him and was determined to get back to him the whole time.

i'm just so helplessly in love with how ed says "i love you" but stede doesn't say it back because in 2x04 ed said he's not allowed to say that. ed knows that stede loves him already and stede is still respecting ed's request out of respect for his boundaries. he says "i know" to show that even if ed isn't the best at showing his affection, stede sees and understands him

I don't think I have ever seen someone act out being in love as well as Taika Waititi. Not even just in these scenes, he does it in every scene with Stede. He doesn't just make you believe but he also makes you *feel* that Ed is absolutely completely in love with Stede.

The progression is so cute. The first one is a bit shy, the second is more comfortable, the third one is straight up HUNGER, and the final one is sweet.

their love story is so believable because Rhys and Taika have worked with each other for over 20 years- so that love there is real. maybe it's not romantic love, but platonic love. and that's just as strong. you can really see the affection they have for one another. its beautiful

There’s comfort and safety in doing intimate scenes with someone you’ve known that long. You know their boundaries, they know yours, and you don’t have to worry about being taken advantage of.

Just noticed how that damn romcom music play in the background everytime they kiss and I am now devastated by stupid romantic pirates once more. Thank you ofmd and I wish you a third season.

don't worry, everyone in this show is queer :) the first kiss is in season 1, the rest are in season 2. the entire show is about their romance. there are other queer couples who kiss and have romantic scenes as well. this show is very, very gay!
