You can admire a player & do all the photoshoots you want honoring said player. If you were ever a fan you'd still be one. As someone who is 25 and watched the suns since i was 8, Dbook is the best suns player in team history by age 26 and will likely be one of the all time leading scorers in NBA history by career's end. You and anyone else that wants to base judgement off him for the collective dud that it was against the Mavs were just haters to start with. Anything in between that is nonsensical, even more so.

AD got hurt in Game 4 and missed all of Game 5 and left after a few minutes in Game 6, plus Jamal Murray was out for the entire playoffs so no other scoring threat other than Jokic, and Kawhi was out too. Every single team the Suns played in the playoffs and beat had injuries to at least 1 key player. Even the Pelicans.

i never even saw the Kobe comparisons to be that accurate . To me all he has similar is Kobe’s Shot Creation but You would need to combine that with Zach Lavine Athleticism/Flair and Jimmy Butlers Defense to get Kobe. That’s how good he was , Devin is closer to being Brandon Roy if BRoy never got hurt

Fair points made! Booker is no slouch. Might be the best SG in the league rn. I know roasting him is a bit much & over the top hating, and I'll be ready to eat my words if he bounces back in the playoffs

I really don’t like Devin Booker for most of the reasons you pointed out, but with the kobe comparisons, i gotta admit, most of it isn’t his fault. If people compared me to my idol, I’d feel pretty good about it. Some of the stuff he says is really corny, but the media is the one shoving it down our throats. It definitely doesn’t help his case, but i don’t really blame him for that

When I get doubled at the gym it always brightens my day, 'they scared' I think right before I say some stupid stuff like, "Nah you boys better bring three or four." And get my dumbself locked up. Still feels good though. Can't imagine being at Booker's level crying about that.

I think a couple of these points are you dogpiling on Booker a bit too much. I don’t like him but like smiling at Kobe’s jersey in a preseason game… don’t really see the problem with that and think it’s unfair to say it’s his fault for the Kobe comparisons just for showing love to his idle in a situation like that Don’t get me wrong though another banger video just found myself disagreeing with some of it

I think people get so caught up in his talk that they aren’t able to understand the art of his game. Book knows everyone hates him, but he cares more what players like Kobe think of him.

Before Chris Paul got to the suns they weren’t even making the playoffs with DBook leading them. I dont think he’s a great player, he’s a very GOOD player but not great. I don’t think he has the true undeniable hunger to be like a kobe bryant. Most players dont have the burning desire to win at all cost while simultaneously working harder then the men around you. Thats why we dont see Kobes ,MJs and Tim duncans on the regular. Most of our stars today are grossly overrated when compared to the great. Most of these guys are TMacs , Steve Francis’, Allen Iversons , and Vince carters. Thats no slight to them but legends only come around every blue moon. So when they compare tatum and booker to Kobe its almost offensive . Kobe was on a different level at the same age as DBook and JT. JT has the height and the Athleticism to kill defenders attacking the rim but he doesn’t drive to the cup as much he should. And that to me makes his game predictable and he’s not a dog like kobe. DBook doesn’t have the athleticism or the height, nor the hunger, only the shooting stroke. Yeah he can have lights out games but he doesn’t have them when they matter. Hes choked way too much and his defense isn’t elite.Kobe was a top guard defender most of his career.That alone is unacceptable on Bookers part.
