Did you have any of these figures?? I don't think I had a single Superman figure growing up. We were a Batman household :p

i definitely had both the interchangeable clark to superman figures growing up i would always lose the clark stuff but that was my favorite superman figure to go in the bathroom with and sit in front of the heater just to see his cape wave! The only drawback about that figure though is that the spring would eventually get loose so his head would sink in like a turtle :/. But one day my dad just decided screw it and super glued it so that his head stay up. I think honestly my fondest memories were with that figure the most. Thank you so much for allowing me to relive my childhood with this video!

Also I have a question, where did you get the photos of the head sculpture differences, I remember that maybe 10-15 years ago i have found a website or a blog can't realy say there was information about the variants of head sculptures with pupils and solid ones, there was a photo also of an unreleased Flash protype torso, but sadly can't find it anymore. I am realy interested how did they produce the Superman figures back then, from what i have researched i have found out that nowadays they produce under license some of the Superman Kenner/Hasbro toys in India by some company Funskool but quality there is very bad.

I have to say it again. One of the best coverage of any action figure line ever. I mustve gone back to watch the full video at least 10x. As a true blue Superman fan, I cant get over how well and complete this presentation was.

Please do videos on Batman's "Knight Force Ninjas" and "Legends of the Dark Knight" lines by Kenner. BTW I was more of a Batman guy myself. The amount of dedication you have for these history videos is immaculate.

Great stuff, man! I remember a few of those figures, I had one or two of the animated and Man of Steel line. I was never a big Superman fan, but the toys looked good. By the time they started making the hyper-posed Justice League/Total Justice stuff, I wasn’t collecting anymore. Although, when I jumped back in around 2002, I thought about that Mattel Batman/Superman pack from their 6” Batman line. Anyway, always awesome to see your videos!

As a little guy I was hooked on all things hero and the first Superman toy I had was the box set of him and Doomsday. Oddly enough it was like Superman was everywhere and then nowhere as soon as he got his own show and started popping up on Batman episodes. Luckily Superboy had that cool jacket and edgy look and he fit in well with my X Men. As for Doomsday... my Magneto never had such a weapon before or since 😆

I remember playing in late 90s with orange-blue Superman figure. It still had parts of his costume blue yet he also had orange chestplate, elbow and knee pads. Its style reminded of the STAS. It appears it might have been a knockoff

Fantastic channel. Love all the obscure info. Never heard of those 7" DC figures from Kenner but I dig them. I liked when they made toys that could be for adults and kids alike.

I had that Toy Biz Superman figure with the Kryponite ring. Actually, I broke one or two of them because I had a slight habit of throwing them down the stairs to make them "fly". I'd eventually move on to Batman and Ninja Turtles figures, though I'd eventually pick up the Superman figure from the first wave of the animated series line that came with the capture net launcher. I think I still have stored away somewhere. Those animated series figures are hard to find nowadays and are thus pretty valuable.

You earned yourself a sub. Very cool channel. If I had one friendly unsolicited critique, perhaps look into getting a newer mic or if you do have a new mic, see if you can adjust the settings. Your voice quality seems a bit flat with the slightest reverb.
