Yugioh miniatures by Mattel
11:41 These three right here were my childhood wrestling toys, gifted to me by an aunt of mine. Still have them among my figure collection and they were actually what got me interested in pro wrestling. Though my mother didn't let me watch it - for fear of copying any moves as a kid - she didn't mind the toys it seemed. However, I ended up creating my own idea of what wrestling actually was in my 6-year-old-mind. I was nearly there, to be fair, but it was way more over the top and fantastical. 😂 They fought each other, my Power Rangers and sometimes blobs of Blu-Tack that were trying to devour them. Good times.
Daffy Duck is the only one (Because Donald Duck doesn't exist)
Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse two beloved icons
I had the entire 1st Series and didn't even know it, until 35 years later good video..
Do a video about the history of Smurfs toys.
I have about 75-100 of the original
The toy Fair exclusive wasn't limited to subscribers it was first come first serve you would have to use one of the order forms from the toy Fair issue though along with payment
Hey! That Steel at the beginning looks great! Did you spray paint it? Did you honestly think I wouldn’t notice? I have had countless rewatches of this video you know :)
Jasper, Agnes, and Hans Moleman are my favorite characters
I particulrarly enjoyed the later Backlash series from 2002 - 2006ish. I chased the Backlash BCA Hollywood Hulk Hogan and Brock Lesnar for months and never found either. Eventually Backlash transitioned to TTL style. I grabbed a Backlash Shawn Michaels in ring gear around 2006 from a closing KB Toys. Great history! I had that bald Kurt Angle in the later Backlash series, great figure.
I hope we get MK1 figures
i heared Mc Farlane start line MK1 figures guess in next year. ;) But me have already unique statues from MK1 .For now only Ashrah . Sareena . Mileena 😎
Great video! As a kid getting into wrestling in the very early 2000's, I relied a lot on VHS tapes from Blockbuster and Hollywood Video for the classic stuff. I remember being in elementary school when the first series of Classic Superstars came out, my parents got me the Shawn and BRet from the series off of Ringside Collectibles. I was ecstatic to have two figures of the past but in modern form even at that age, the fantasy booking was phenomenal that Christmas.
Great video. These are so nostalgic for me, I had every Ranger from this set. Everything about this video reminds me of how great it was to be a kid during this era. The marketing for the movie may have been better than the actual film, but I will still watch it every few years. Thanks for all the work you do on these! They take me back everytime I tune in. One of the best series on KZread!
I had been somewhat of a fan of WWE and WCW around when I started Kindergarten in 1998/1999, however my parents weren't on board with supporting my wrestling fandom until around 2002, and these were some of the first figures I grew up with. I remember being a mega Hogan fan, and when I first saw the nWo R3 Hogan figure at retail, it was the first time my mom bought me a wrestling figure. I really loved this series and this entire era of Jakks up until they started calling it in around 2008/2009. I think R3 Tech is one of the most innovative series they ever produced, and had they truly invested in it, I think it would have been fascinating to see how far it could have went. I honestly prefer this line over the RA line in terms of scale and deco, it would have been really interesting to see how far they could have gone with this even with Classic Superstars. I think Jakks continuing to produce so many half hearted efforts such as the BCA with Backlash, TTL, etc. strained efforts with budget across the board. They could have easily made R3 or even RA so much better had they just put the effort in there and not in so many excessive lines. As flawed as many are, and as great as Mattel is, nothing gets me invested like the glory days of Jakks.
Love the WCW/nWo Revenge references in your intro! nWo4Life!
I HAVE THE ZORAK FUNKO POP !!!
This doc is so refreshing , I love the detail and breakdown you have laid out . Great collection 👍
EXCELLENT WORK 💯‼️
Really hope you do all of the Titan tron figures
U make awesome videos n u have a great channel I've been telling all my collecting buddies about it since I found it. Hope u have much success
Now that we have marvel legends and Jada Toys we can make a more accurate Xmen vs Street Fighter
Still mad that Disney remaster the show into dvd or blue ray
Not only is McFarlane done making MK11 action figures, but Storm Collectibles have cancelled their MK line, as well. I wonder if we'll see the Storm Collectibles chapter in the Mortal Kombat figure history? It's frustrating to me that Hasbro (and Toy Island by extension) are the closest any company had to given us a somewhat complete roster of characters. All I want in my life is a roster of Mortal Kombatants in either 1/12 scale or 1/10 scale that are affordable.
I love the Titan Tron figures just started collecting those and the bone crunchers heck i collect all action figures these days
I just started collecting these
they missed a trick of packing the two Captains of Marvel & Capcom (America & Commando) as a two-pack.
Venom and Morrigan doesn't sound like a bad combination either.
You didnt made TTL FIGURES history bro
This really brings back memories! I had the blue riing and the series 1 Hulk Hogan, macho man, Ultimate Warrior and the series 1 demolition figures. I also had The Rockers but I don't think I got any more after that.
In Australia we got wave 2 first, for some reason (see, Mattel didn’t care) and personally I thought the series was great. In retrospect between this, Biker Mice, Street Sharks, Toxic Crusaders and a PILE of other stuff trying to capitalise on TMNT’s concept, this show at least had its own origins and it was toxic waste, more stolen from biker mice i guess
please do a video of ren and stimpy figures! or south park!
😂😂😂 that Kane your friend had is epic af lol
8:57 don’t let him go to the island
genuinely awesome channel
It was the scale of the wcw figures that let it down too inconsistent
Used to love the random accessories you’d get
loved these, wish someone had made Rockos Modern Life figures
the pizza bagel bit had me rolling'
Great watch!
that special message was excellent
Do a video about the wwf mini they come with 6 figures a ring and cage
In 1991, Hasbro acquired Kenner which was later defunct in 2000.
hell yeah
Super Powers in 1984*
Why are some of the newer figures from the series more expensive.
Gosh these packagings are next level!! Love
This is so awesome...
Do no mercy next with TTL figures ❤
All those spawn toys made and not one freaking Frost made ever. So frustrating
Kinda sad there are not new action Hanna Barbera toys like space ghost or the herculoids being produced anymore.
