Cashing in on the Animated X-Men series as well as the popularity of the Street Fighter games, Marvel & Capcom would combine their powers to develop a new fighting style arcade game in 1996! With its success, Toy Biz thought, “why not?” and included the games as part of their Videogame Superstars line!

That Mega Man's face is... _so_ unsettling.
Seeing this video made me wish those Marvel vs Capcom Infinite figs that Hasbro did a few years ago were in the 6 inch scale like these old figs were.
Really cool! I remember seeing some of these and thinking “wow, X-Men figures will never get better than these” haha. I also appreciate how the alternate colors were integrated. These days, I almost prefer the alternate colors on my Storm Collectibles Street Fighter figures to the standard versions. Awesome video, man!

Now that we have marvel legends and Jada Toys we can make a more accurate Xmen vs Street Fighter
Given that Hasbro have been doing retro Toy Biz style Marvel Legends figures lately, I wish they would do a series of Marvel vs. Capcom retro style 6 inch figures. The Marvel characters can be re-released figures (with Capcom characters being the only unique figures in each 2-pack). Examples given: Spider-Man (a variant of the recent retro Spider-Man wave) vs. Strider Hiryu, Captain America (a variant of the 80th Anniversary Cap) vs. Morrigan Aensland, Hulk (a variant of the 80th Anniversary Hulk from the 1st appearance Wolverine 2-pack) vs. Jin Saotome, and War Machine (a variant of the recent deluxe 90s W.M.) vs. Megaman to name a few.
Hasbro need to get this license again. Love that sf art style

I really wish hasbro will take Capcom license and create Capcom figs vs marvel legends or just Capcom line, that would be amazing and dream come true! If only.

Man….I used to own at least half the collection as a kid. I loved XMvsSF and used to go to KB Toys in the mall and buy these. I had Akuma/Wolverine, Bison/Cyclops, Ken/Sabretooth, and ChunLi/Juggernaut. I had no idea they would become rare collectibles, the prices for them are insane on Ebay.
