First trip of the year! We head up to Crivitz, WI and rip some laps on the lake. The ice was not really that thin, 8" and was safe. We have a mix of new and old sleds, the group is partial to Ski-Doo, But we have a good mix of brands, each one has their own character and their own purpose.
The Elan 250 starts and runs great, I added an aluminum velocity stack intake, and a primer. The primer did not do a dang thing to be honest. BUT...The 250 is no longer in the sled, I swapped in a 335 and it will be shown in our next sled video! It is fast, too fast to be safe! 12hp to now 20hp.
As far as vintage Arctic-Cats go, Id say the 89' 440 is a reliable sled, would recommend.
Rider in white is finishing up his 06 800 P-tec 136" as well. Lots more content to come this season!
