Vintage Show and Ride with the big Ski-Doo!

The Chase Stone Barn vintage snowmobile show had a great turnout. I finished up the swap on the Elan, went from the 250 single to my 335 single that was from my 71 Olympic. Gained 10hp and it was a direct bolt-in swap. I've spent some time tuning the carb and got it dialed in better than what the video shows. The night before the show I lost spark and since I didn't have any spare parts, I was going to swap the 250 back in. But all I needed to do was file the good ole points and that's all it needed! I'll have to do a top-speed run if we get any more snow.
Trails by us are closed but we were able to go on a short ride still. I also added in some clips from the Manawa Snowdeo.
The next video will be our season highlights, we road some awesome trails up north near Rhinelander, hit epic jumps, and some other fun stuff from Lake Noquebay. Stay tuned!

nice sled. good video! we lost our snow a few weeks back when it went from winter to summer in two days. fun to see people ripping around in the snow still.

Same here, I posted this video a few weeks late, it was maybe 55 for a day and that was the last of the snow. Now it's high 30s so maybe we will get one more storm like back in 2018.

Are you happy with the 335? Are you still just running the stock gearing and single row chain?

Yup I'm happy with it. Seems like I can never get the track tight enough, it slaps the tunnel during breaking. Stock gearing and chain still.
