We drove 7 hours from Green Bay, WI to Silver Lake Dunes in Mears, MI on a Thursday night, to ride all day Saturday and Sunday. It was an amazing trip besides hurting my back pretty good, but it's healing fast. Know before you go about the parking voucher times, flag height, and spark arrester rules. This is a state park, open to just about any type of vehicle, even three-wheelers! We will be back next year for sure, and there are two free weekends every year as of now.
