Since spin-off games have been taking so much inspiration from NSMB.. now that we're here with Wonder, and unlike in NSMB Wonder has SO. MANY. NEW. ENEMIES.. I hope that at least a good handful of these guys can stick around in future games and appear and spinoffs and stuff. Would be cool to have a Paper Mario game with one of those armadillo guys or Skeleton Dry Bones dog things as partners..

Although they aren’t new, the Boo’s seem to have been redesigned to look more like their classic artwork, and I think they look good as it gives them much more personality, it’s also good that they brought back Lil’Sparkie’s and Hotheads, enemies from Super Mario World that didn’t even appear in the “New” games, I hope they put Chargin’ Chucks in this game as ever since they were brought back in 3D World they have been semi-recurring since, and it would be good to put them in Wonder as it could bring them back to their 2d origins.😊

I don’t know when or where but at some point those goombrats were seriously nerfed. In the DS version you’d have to jump on them twice to kill them and not only that, the first time you’d jump on them (unless you pressed the jump button) you get knocked back a short distance and they would run in whatever direction you got sent.

Out of all the new enemies that Nintendo showed us, my favorite has got to be the Maw-Maws. I love their design, they look so cute and cartoony! Love the way they open their mouths and try to chase you then get tired, ALL of the new enemies are amazing too!

Shnails already have been named swirlypods. Flingers have been already named anglefish. The blue condarts are robbirds. The green stuff is called goo. Push bros already have been named shovas. Mushroom buds have already been named erins. Surchins have already been named chinanago. The enemies that you made up the name for can be in the title of the level The popcorn enemies are called Morocon. Fire spikes are named Fire Gabons. Monster doors are named noknoks.

The popcorn enemies are definitely called "Hopcorn"(not sure about the kernels), and the balloon fish "blowfish"

this game looks like it's adding more new enemies then the RPG's did in their prime which is surreal have to do a comparison count when it comes out

I believe the blue shell that Mario's holding tells us that blue koopa troopas are coming back from World. Which could also mean yellow troopas are coming back too!

The gophers are called skedadlers, I saw a level that was titled scram skedadlers with a picture of the gopher.

Just saying this now, but the next mario maker game is going to be insane!

Technically you are wrong about the blue koopa troopa. It exists and is an actual enemy but can only be found in the Ice Stage of the Mario vs. Luigi mode in the new super mario bros DS game. Go check it out!

Those triangle fish are actually called "Anglefish". If you go to the online portion of the direct, for a brief moment, you can see the name of the level.
