I think what makes these scenes so powerful is how everywhere else Kirbo has a cute little high pitched voice, only says poyo, and essentially is depicted much like a toddler. But when the time is right, Kirbo recites his prayers with great eloquence. He takes on a different voice and makes for himself a commanding presence that makes all cower before him and the Lord.

I think it’s also the fact that most of the time, when a character is suddenly portrayed as a Christian in a story these days, it’s a punchline about fundamentalism or the like. But in this case, Kirbo is a genuine follower of Christ, who walks the walk and talks the talk. And it doesn’t feel like a violent departure from the character of Kirby, because Kirby is meant to be the ultimate force of purity in a world full of nightmares.

I loved how when someone mentioned that the christian kirbo joke has gone too far, you spited him and took his advice simultaneously. in future kirbo videos, you didn't use the christian kirbo gag at all until the very end, which followed his advice to some extent, but then you crank the christian kirbo gag to 1000 at the final boss, which spited him. very clever. I love it.

Ok, so can we appreciate how in Amazing Mirror Jesus looks exactly as he's said to look in the Book of Revelation? Props to you, Terminal. Also: Notice how Zero, Zero² if you will, is referred to as Saul. This actually fits someone like Zero as he saw himself as a Benevolent Force for wanting to rid everyone of Free Will, much like how Saul once saw himself for hunting the first Apostles.

Not only thats but its a double whammy reference as after Zero² was baptized he lost his red eye, much like how God blinded Saul on the road to Damascus and later got his sight restored after being baptized and he started proclaiming Jesus as the messiah and the son of God. Of all things, a funny chaotic parody/homage to Kirby was the last place where i expected scripture accurate references to christianity

Think about this, Luigi got a visit from an alternate version of himself and if you've seen the Luigi's mansion video, he's a lot better at exorcising demons. If Luigi is that strong, imagine Kirbo when he relearns everything that happened in a past reality from his alternate's self notes. Or Kirbo can be that overpowered as he is god's favorite. Either way, Kirbo is so strong and the fact Kirbo is good friends with Luigi, another fellow prophet of God, is so wholesome.

Something About Veggietales with Kirbo crossover when?

The Christian Kirby joke will always work because of the nature of the Kirby bosses. The contrast between innocence and corruption between Kirby and the bosses will make this always my favorite gag.

As I Christian I find this hilarious and I want it to keep going hoping for another kirbo Christmas special.

In practically every mainline Kirby game, Kirby is always doing something out of selflessness and a desire to help others. He isn't perfect, he has a deep love for food and has a tendency of getting manipulated by others. For the former, he's able to put aside that love to give back the food stolen from the residents of Dreamland and he rises above the evil machinations of his foes and corrects his mistakes. @@sirpumpkin99 That's a huge misconception that came from memes, Kirby does do a lot of things out of selfless acts, or even to defend his friends and help those in need. The only reason people believe the shortcake thing is because of Squeak Squad, but that has only happened there and at times kinda feels out of character. Also, I would like to mention Kirby doesn't really kill Gods that often, he does destroy many powerful entities that do evil, but actual deities? Only 2-3 (Zero, Void Termina, perhaps Necrodeus). In games such as Kirby Superstar, Kirby 64, or Kirby Return to Dreamland, they start with Kirby wanting to help someone, though he gets betrayed twice, but after realizing that they were up to no good he stopped them immediately. Meanwhile, by helping Ribbon in Kirby 64 he saved the universe, and in Kirby Dreamland 3, he gets the Love Love Stick, a powerful weapon that was created by hearts Kirby got by helping people.

christian kirbo jokes are the best thing to come out of this series, i really hope you double down even more in future videos

Media in general feels as though it is getting more and more opposed to Christianity, the fact that this channel is willing to show support even in as much of a joking manner of this is something to be thankful for, so thank you. Also the "eye forgive you" scene and Kirbo baptizing the final boss at the end are some of the most accurate portrayals of Christianity I have seen from something that does not actively display itself as Christian from the beginning in a long time.

I like how in the last clip, puts the Road to Damascus(Acts 9), very good reference

I think I said this on another video of yours, but Christian Kirbo works because he actually lives his life by Christly values. He gives time, money, and labor to the needy of Planet Popstar; he shows love and kindness to his neighbors; he hosts Christian and non-Christian friends alike from far-flung universes; he works tirelessly to spread the Gospel throughout Planet Popstar and every planet he visits... And most of all, he fights and purifies evil in the name of Christ. Fucking hell, he BAPTIZED one of the final bosses...I think that dude from Kirby 64? He baptized him and removed his evil tendencies. Christian Kirbo is not some hateful person whose faith is entirely performative. He does not glorify wealth and earthly concerns while running over the poor and the meek. He truly does his best to live his life by his faith. And when he does stumble, God still helps him, because he truly believes.

I think it's the forgiveness part that really gets to me every time. I think it's that point when he realizes that hes been accepted and given the salvation that everyone at some point desires that gets me.
