My favorite scene has to be where Meta Knight goes all out on Link and attacks him from all directions. You can see the detail in how Link uses the different weapons and actually wields them like he does in the games, it is honestly insane how much detail were put into less than like 20 seconds of content.

And speedrunner botw link has nothing on speedrunner totk link. (fairy+weapon dupe, weapon juggling (stacking) fixes his core weaknesses of low health, weapon durability, and limited damage that requires him to rely more on stamina. Loss of bomb runes is solved by ruby dupe) (granted newer speedruns no longer uses fairies, but it was a core component for a while to 'cancel' fall damage) (the biggest loss from speedrunner botw link is honestly the removal of paraglider from the core set, meaning he has significantly less aerial mobility, which does give him a new weakness)

@@BlooperStupid yea, for a simple explanation, more complexity = square amount of effort needed to complete a animation extra explanation : and clearly terminalmontage used frames by frames hand draw method to animate his animations which means you need tons of effort, so simplify character is needed unless you want him to burn our in the first 10 hours of animating a single digit amount of frames, I tried to animate in his style and I burned out after 5 frames been made, which took me 1.5 hours each frame and 3 hr to design the simplified character in terminalmontage style, probably because I'm more of a artist than a animator so I can't do it but u get the point and that's what so many people do stick man fighting animation of the past, simple characters that easy to animate, so can create epic scenes with less effort and lower skills requirements

I think Necrozma vs Arceus is my favorite in terms of atmosphere; Link vs Meta Knight is a personal favorite, the former is one of my favorite characters; but yeah, in terms of story significance for THIS series and overall "choreography," Wahoo vs Super Sonic just can't be beat (so far).

The thing that makes Chilidogs vs Wahoo so raw for me besides the absolutely INSANE choreography and music are those frames where we can see Wahoo perfectly read Chilidog’s attack after he goes back in time. That face is pure malice and it’s so good

Man! Terminal Montage makes all his fights feel like they the final boss of the most epic game ever created. Nothing but admiration and awe!

I’d still say that GMAX RS-Ursh VS GMAX Lapras is the best fight in the series. It’s just something about the buildup to the clash with something about steamed hams mixed with the clash itself no matter how short it is. Something about the “You Fool, YOU FOOL” just hits way too hard for some reason and I love it

Yeah. And RIdley is actually one of the few villains, if not the only one to put a decent fight

16:50 and 16:52 where Fox dashed into Mario and then tried to shoot Mario, both times you can see MULTIPLE Marios(maybe it was 4 for both) coming out of the exchanges. He was truly 4 parallel universes ahead of Fox even from the start

I knew that Wahoo Vs. Chili Dogs would be #1. It was a very epic battle💪🌭 Luigi and Kirbo topped it perfectly😅

I'm always so impressed by and loved that how well the silliness and the epicness are perfectly merged and balanced in all these fights

You know, its amazing you're able to limit yourself to just ten when you have like multiple episodes that are one extensive fight scene

These are by far the best anime fights by terminalmontage

This is why, no matter how long a video takes, it's always worth it when it drops. Even when rewatching episodes I end up catching little easter eggs I hadn't noticed before (like how I didn't notice Dialga's face when Cloudjin talks about consuming time until now). I'll always look forward to your videos!

Speedrunner Mario vs Super sonic is definitely the goat 🐐

That “so far” makes me thing there’s some exciting fights coming up.

I think the biggest thing that sets the epic fight scenes apart from the goofier shenanigans in these animations is that the music always goes hard AF with the good fights. Not that there aren't fights without the tone-shifting music, and neither are the goofy segments lacking in absolute bangers, but you *feel it* when the music starts with the fight, and these remixes are always hits. The best example of that, IMO, is Samus vs. Ridley. The timing of the fight with the music, and the more frantic version of Ridley's theme fuckin slaps.

Seeing the history of SomethingSeries fights is beautiful. We even start off with a reference, at least I'm assuming it's a reference, to Plumbing Plantastrophe

Even though it is very simplistic I really like the art style. It looks very human and fits the overall writing of these videos

I genuinely think Fight Scenes sre the most underrated part of any Media, so much work goes jnto making them whether 2D, 3D, or Live Action. More peopel need to appreciate Figth Scenes cause they're an art. Also I love how the fight scenes you make tend to vary frkm and RPG Style fights to Full on DBZ Style fights.

The megaman fight is just pure gold I love it

The "Something Versus" intro popping up in the middle of the Subspace Emissary video was such a badass moment, gave me chills. It had the anime intro song starting in the middle of the episode feel to it.

1:40 I just love all the obscure and hidden references. Also Suave.

The fact that the fight with Melee Fox was on Melee FD and the one with Brawl Meta Knight was the Brawl version. That attention to detail is something else, man

I love how in this cannon Mario is just the most overpowered beast. Absolutely love how this is probably my favorite series ever

Something SUPER cool I'm just noticing in the Mario V sonic fight around 24:35 is that the frames of the final punch are placed few frames before the final impact, so other punches can still be placed in between while still giving the final slam a good sense of weight and power. It's actually genius and not something I'd ever even think about doing

21:54 In Mario's first encounter with Sonic, he's rather surprised by the sudden attack, but in the second encounter, he not only sees the attack coming, but puts up a rather devious grin, showing his absolute insanity.

Watching all these fights together, makes me happy to continue the imaginary battles in my head. Like! Trying to write out a battle, will always feel different from watching a battle. Determining the battle's length can sometimes be tricky, because you wanna show most of the characters' tricks without going too overboard. What I'm trying to say is: Thanks for bringing to life the epic fights we like to picture in our heads. :D

Megaman X's little "Woo" was what made me subscribe... and I've never even played Megaman X as a series. But it was a jammin' tune, and it ended on such a little matter-of-fact joke that I cracked up hard. I kinda hope he does more music battles like that. Megaman or otherwise.
