A good way to put it is like in Dragonball Z when the characters use their beam attacks (Kamehameha, Beam Cannon, Galick Gun, etc...). What they're doing is concentrating their energy to a small localized point to increase the overall effectiveness of the attack. That's essentially what Kirby does with this ability, but on a more galactic scale. This is also why it's more powerful if he inhales multiple objects at once and does that.

Was about to mention this. Hypernova Kirby stomps almost anyone by just sucking up their health bar. He does need a miracle fruit for that, though, but a) According to the Triple Deluxe ending, the Dream Stalk (where miracle fruit comes from) became a permanent feature of Dream Land and b) Going by Squeak Squad, he should be able to store at least five miracle fruits indefinitely c) Alternatively, he can just get Hypernova and keep it - Hypernova does not have a time limit (seen by getting Hypernova and just standing still indefinitely in-game), and Kirby doesn't even lose Hypernova when losing a life. It is never explained WHY Kirby loses or stops using Hypernova when leaving a level.

I find it funny how the games are so calm and peaceful when you’re probably moving at supersonic speeds the whole time and every attack in the game is probably the equivalent of a nuke and you’re travelling planet to planet to beat big space monsters and gods. Maybe the games are supposed to reflect Kirby’s mental state and show how he sees the world as peaceful and calm to help him deal with his stressful environment and prevents him from destroying the world. Or maybe he’s put under some kind of spell

This is a little off topic but it reminds me of how Star Wars Revenge of the Sith's fight with Palpatine and Windu. How in the movies it is very easy to see what is going on. But in the novelization, when Anakin enters the room, at first he couldn't tell what was going on because there was only flashes of red and purple with shadowy outlines occasionally being able to for a split second being visible on the walls since apparently Palpatine can move so fast he almost fades in and out of the dimension.

You forgot the point that Kirby actually breaks the fourth wall and one of the games when he was fighting the giant Queen you can actually see him use his hypernova to suck in the boss's literal HP bar

Have you never noticed that he always takes the same amount of "damage" regardless of whether some similar sized ball lightly bumps into him or a literal eldrich abomination unleashes their full power at him? @@nedlooker9954 thankfully that is quite litteraly impossible. Seeing as how thanks to implications from star allies its theorized kirby is made up of pure positivity. So they are most likely incapable of things like hatred and other negative feeling. Actually I think they do feel them thinking back to it but it's likely it's only to a extent and the impossible part is them falling into these emotions.

Also something to note: kirby inhale is limited by his breath and his mouth size, if his mouth could cover a planet and he didn't run out of breath he could easily inhale a solar system

I know for a fact that the plot of one of those games is that King Dedede steals all the stars in the sky (and just carries it in a bag). I'll edit this when I figure out which one. 6:41 No idea where he got the Magolor and Lor Starcutter part from. He might have mistaken the Warpstar for a dragon named Landia, who did keep up with Magolor and the Lor. Best to disregard that feat. However, the Dark Mind part happens at the end of Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, and it's the final battle with Dark Mind. 6:50 Magolor explicitly states that his home, Halcandra, lies at the end of an interdimensional tunnel known as Another Dimension. In recent times we've learned that Another Dimension is an interdimensional highway to *many* different worlds and universes. I don't know where he got the exact number of 22 universes, in fact it's likely far more than that, but I would assume that he counted the portal holes that you can see while fighting Magolor and the Lor while flying through Another Dimension (this is overall irrelevant since, again, the Warpstar had not been shown to keep up with the Lor). 8:24 Most likely referring to how Void Termina and Morpho Knight can use a brainwashing attack against all of Kirby's allies (including Dream Friends) but Kirby cannot be affected. He also hasn't been targeted by any form of Dark Matter which could imply they could not possess him (but then again, could also just mean that Dark Matter just never bothered to try). He also wasn't impacted by the influence of nearby Dark Hearts like other characters were in Star Allies. 8:26 ~ 8:30 I don't know about this one. Self regeneration might be referring to Mass Attack where lost Kirbys can ve recovered by eating enough food. Or maybe it is referring to how Kirby can heal himself with the Sleep Ability. I also don't know when he has brought himself back to life again. Possibly a reference to Mass Attack again, since you can bring back dead Kirbies if another Kirby is fast enough to grab their soul, but I say these are some iffy statements overall. Might want to disregard them as feats. 11:09 This is an ability from the anime; only certain elements from the anime are canon, and this is not one of them. I believe this KZreadr already clarified on another comment that he added things from the anime just to show how Kirby's power is represented in all genres. But for Game Kirby's canonical power, you can disregard this. 11:26 Never heard of this to be honest...most likely from the anime, and is definitely not a canon element in the games. If it is, I've definitely never heard of it. Might have been in Kirby media that saw a Japan only release. I could see Kirby Kira Kira Kids/Super Star Stacker being where this is from. @@SpoonAtNoon No, he didn't have any of the abilities that the Pink Heart gave him before it landed on him. While he was able to create Helpers before he got the power of the Heart, that was done by sacrificing his own Copy Ability rather than turning an enemy into a friend. Before Star Allies, he couldn't use any of the Friend Abilities (Friend Bridge, Friend Star, etc) either. I think the reason people are saying that is because the Pink Heart is theorized to come from a primordial matter/substance call Heart Matter, and Kirby (kind of) has similar attributes to properties of Heart Matter.

I would even put him at a Conceptual Level seeing as he killed the literal God/Embodiment of Death of the Kirby franchise (Necrodeus) when only at a 10th of his full power, is seemingly immortal, destroys the manifestations of corrupted planet-to-multiversal-levels-of-power souls and is powered by the concept of friendship itself. He's literally a walking Infinity Gauntlet of positivity.

In the comics, well…whilst wearing the infinity gauntlet Thanos was able to defeat not just the universes strongest heroes, but as well as Galactus, the celestials, the embodiments of order & chaos, as well as the manifestation of Eternity itself. The snap is more so a visual decision in addition of showing how effortless it was. The Infinity Gauntlet is essentially the end all be all of the marvel universe. The MCU version is heavily watered down

As far as I understand, the relationship between Kirby and Void Termina is like this. VOID is the source of all. It is where all matter, energy, emotions, magic, good, evil and all other things come from. It is pure potential and possibility, and can do anything imaginable. Sometimes the VOID incarnates into a universe. In Star Allies that incarnation is Void Termina. And we see that this incarnation has the potential to create different bodies and weapons to fight with - mimicking what has existed before. While the incarnation is young it is very impressionable, and will imprint on the emotions it senses around it. Void Termina was spawned with hatred, envy and jealousy - so it was a being of pure destructive rage. Zero is quite likely another incarnation based on loneliness and possessiveness, making it want to be close to and "assimilate" others. Kirby is heavily implied to be an incarnation of VOID spawned from happiness and love, making him seek out friendship and helping others whenever he can. This means that technically both Kirby and Void Termina has the infinite power of creation behind them, and should be equals. But while both seem perfectly able to simple unleash a pure beam of energy, they prefer to spawn weapons to channel their power through. Perhaps accessing that infinite power directly is difficult, or may affect them negatively. If we assume Meta Knight and Galacta Knight to also be incarnations of VOID, that explains why they are so powerful and why they use weapons to channel that power. In short, Kirby is a physical incarnation of source of everything. And he can use the power of that source to do just about anything imaginable, and long as he has a way to channel it.

@@hioman In Robobot, we have a pause screen with the description of Star Dream analyzing Kirby, and determining that he has infinite power. But I'm not aware of any other game before Star Allies that gives information on the nature of Kirby. In Star Allies, we have the statement that Void assumes different forms depending on the emotions it is surrounded by. And during the fight Void actually starts to act and think more like Kirby, due to the influence of Kirby and friends (again stated in pause screens) But the big connection comes from the visuals and sounds. Void takes a form that resembles either Kirby or Dark Matter for most of the final phase, on all difficulties. Void Terminas screams are literally Kirby's voice slowed down and slightly distorted. And the music is partially built on Kirby's leitmotif. Once you start looking for it, you realize Star Allies isn't being subtle about framing Kirby and Void Termina as deeply connected on some level.

His body's Spidey Sense can sense things and move at God level, as a God is canonically fueling it in the comics and has to warn people to not surprise him in his sleep as it will trigger anyways. Some of this is still there as in no way home, his Spidey Sense can be activated without his soul. One more thing for the road. He pulls a Goku on people too. He has to pull his punches or he could casually kill you otherwise (Superior Spiderman) and if he tenses up his muscles while someone throws a punch, it will break their hand if punched at with full force (forgot where, but it's in the comics. Look it up.). He ain't as strong as Goku, but he could absolutely kick your ass in his sleep. In fact, if you try to punch him, him tensing up due to no control over Spidey Sense while asleep, and you breaking your hand on him. So yeah, he wouldn't even had to be actively avoiding your attacks while asleep, which Spidey Sense tends to do, to annihilate you.

Technically you could go with the biggest infitiy (absolute infinity) and still have him die to a Waddle Dee due to him being what's essentially (and according to the anime, literally) a baby - it'd be more apt to say it's infinite *potential* at that point, though.

friendship is literally a power up in Kirby so I wouldn't be surprised if there's a legit multiplier for Kirby being made of friend material

With Kirby's newest game: The Forgotten Land, there are a few new things. Kirby can now keep medium sized objects in his mouth and take full control of them, his new ranger ability gives Kirby a gun that fires assumingly the same projectiles as his infinite magic and can now upgrade or refine his copy abilities to be even more powerful than before. Kirby now has the ability to stop time using time crash so that's cool. And the final boss, while not as powerful as Void Termina, is still really powerful as the boss can create portals to other parts of the universe and it's capture and research has given the former native inhabitants technology beyond their wildest dreams.

13:00 - Based on what we see Kirby do throughout the series, I think the word 'exaggerate' should be taken with a grain of salt. And the really messed up thing is, there's still things we don't know about him. This is only the stuff we KNOW.

When Marx split himself in half, he actually creates a dimensional rift that sends kirby in a brief pocket dimension where he gets swarmed with arrow shaped projectiles, not that it was a black hole.

Kirby’s only weaknesses are his hunger (just feed him and you can befriend him) and his intelligence (Kirby has been repeatedly tricked and fooled so if you can outsmart him into giving himself up you could in theory beat him). There is no way you could beat him through sheer force alone. You would have to be underhanded to win.

also dont forget, kirby can clone himself at will- he uses it to do victory dances. also kirby has now got literally the power of friendship. plus all the other game gimmicks- he has a mech suit that can echo his own powers, ect ect.

Kirby does have the copy ability but you forgot to mention a more not talked about ability being his insane adaptability. Kirby scales to the opponent he is facing. If he is fighting a waddle dee or void termina he scales to not only match their power but also overpower them. His environmental adaptability is even more impressive. In triple deluxe a magic fruit grants him hypernova ability. In planet robobot kirby can instantly change a robobot armor into his own perfectly control its features and even allow it to have the copy ability as well. Kirby in star allies had a heart fall on his head and he adapted and amplified that power to control whatever friend he desires. In the trailers of the next kirby game we see kirby get distorted by trying to adapt to a wormhole thus granting him the power of mouthful mode and can control objects. I think kirby is one of actual video game characters that actually has infinite power because he instantly scales to his environment and enemies which leads me to believe he is one of the strongest fictional characters. Even when you get a game over kirby just falls asleep he doesn't ever die. So essentially you to beat kirby you would need someone that doesn't affect the environment at all down to projectiles and even shockwaves as shockwaves leave stars and might be adaptable. If they could just destroy all universes even then kirby wouldn't die and by destroying everything you would be changing kirby's environment yet again. The only way would be to repeatedly knock out kirby while being as carefully as possible not to change the environment in any way.

Remember Kirby is still a baby ( for his species)

I love how all the games are so calm, bubbly and fun. Then at the end you end up fighting AzaSatanthulu

He's also immune to effects that drain life force, i.e. Metroids. As shown by that time in Dreamland 3 where he killed Metroids that tried and failed to hurt him.

My theory about Kirby's infinint power is I think Kirby just has good control over his power, which is why you see home go from strugling to fight a tree to fighting the destroyer of words. Maybe Kirby him self doesn't know he has infinint power, and it's probably better that way because if he knew he had this power, he would become much more feared and probably accidentally cause the destruction of his own world. Kirby's personality played a huge role in what he would do compared to what he can do. Maybe he could erase the whole universe, but he wouldn't do that because he doesn't care about being powerful, also that would make him a real monster.

big one you missed: mass attack's very premise. in that game Necrodius, the Kirby DEATH GOD, uses all of his power to kill Kirby in one blow. and THAT only manages to split his physical form and soul (star heart), the physical portion turns into a bunch of mini Kirbys, and the soul guides them. in that game Necrodius is relentless trying to kill every last Kirby, implying that you need to apply a fatal blow and THEN kill all Kirbys to actually kill him completely. The game over screen shows a Kirby angel unlike all other games where he s simply sleeping, this exception implies that nothing in the other games can kill Kirby, merely tire him out. oh yeah, and Kirby killed Necrodius with no trace of him in any future games, meaning Kirby took out the one being with the most devoted abilities to pose a lethal threat to our pink gumball.

It might even be more than this, too - depending on how you want to look at certain aspects, even the basic enemies Kirby fights are ludicrously powerful. Given how Helpers/Friends work in Super Star/Ultra and Star Allies, practically all the types of creatures Kirby faces are more than capable of doing similar deeds and winning. Even more, consider Bandanna Waddle Dee: they're essentially the game's Goomba but with some combat training, and can easily handle Soloing the True Arena just like Kirby. Going into the Goomba analog, a single waddle dee would not only be able to deal with rescuing Princess Peach from Bowser, it would be easy. (And granted, perhaps Bandanna Dee is exceptional to other Waddle Dees, but given that a Parasol Waddle Dee can do similar, the argument still stands.) The whole matter is that everything in the Kirby 'Verse is egregiously overpowered, and yet the games are notably easy games, but that's because Kirby as mentioned here is just ludicrously overpowered to begin with. They're easy games to us, because they're easy to him.

Bandana Dee is well above a normal Waddle Dee. In video games, normal enemies are not considered actual challenges for the main character since it's just for gameplay purposes. A normal waddle dees and other basic enemies don't actually hurt Kirby.

I think one of his most powerful abilities that isn’t mentioned here is that his classic “suck up the stars and shoot them back” ability, which appears to actually be Kirby inhaling and redirecting kinetic energy. Basically every time you impact something with sufficient force (or move at a sufficient speed to create a vacuum), you’re giving Kirby the opportunity to take that force out of the air, and spit it into your face. By even fighting Kirby, you’re making him more powerful.

Now he's even more powerful with mouthful mode! With this, he can put his mouth over/around an object and gain the ability of the object. This also shows that he can stretch.

Kirby is definitely a reicarnation of Void. That said, I wouldn't call Void a "god of destruction" (Void _Termina_ could count though). If you ask me, Void is specifically a God of _Chaos._ Every incarnation of Void would still retain that chaotic nature, but could slide between good and evil depending on the emotions they were born from. Dark Matter, Zero, and Void Termina were born from negative emotions like fear and hatred, while Kirby was born from more positive emotions, making him a universal force of good in spite of also being a chaos god. TLDR: Kirby is the God of Chaotic Good.

Kirby in terms of power is kind of similar to hulk in the comics, their powers scale up, in hulk's case the angrier he is the more powerful he is with no limit to his anger, in kirby's case it seems he scales to the challenge at hand making dedede or void termina both fair fights.

5:34 I think a good way to explain it is if you always were fed and well rested but never actually had to eat or sleep, but you cannot summon all this food/rest at once to create a black hole.

The best part about kirby isn’t even his weapons or copy abilities. When an enemy attacks, they leave behind a star that kirby can suck up and shoot back at you. If your attack uses ANY energy AT ALL kirby can reverse it on you in the form of a pure energy star, reflecting and magnifying damage.

A disturbing thing to note: NOTHING has managed to actually injure kirby. Not even wince in pain for even a second.

@@jestfullgremblim8002 Well i didn’t think it was there weird to mention since they have a Undertale, profile picture, so i just thought I’d talk about my OC, that’s really strong why wouldn’t i mention her dude, also it’s headcannon, not fanfiction, also i didn’t say anything gross, or cringe, so stop acting so offended like it’s cringe i really hate whenever Undertale, is brought up they find it cringe, or can’t take it like grow up. She’s a great character to so screw off I’ll mention her whenever i want.

Fanfics are not cringe. YOU are cringe. There is nothing impressive about what you said. It's only interesting to you. Plus my fanfic character could totally beat yours up. So if someone doesn't ask, then don't tell. keep it to yourself. learn from this please. Dont just cry and get mad, learn, that human interaction is not about you getting to tell everyone about some idea you have. That's what your parents are for. It's for them to suffer through. Not the rest of us.

About "Magolor's death"... If you're only looking at that game, it would make sense that is what happened, but later games have shown him to be fine. Dream Collection's bonus mode has the conceit of him creating a theme park out of regret, so that's actually canon. Even then, Star Allies has him summonable, so that's him confirmed alive again.

If Kirby can break his planet in half with one strick, does that mean almost ALL enemy's he comes across can take equal power of hits? Thats insane.

I've always had a thought that Kirby is composed of a massive star that was compressed to the point of becoming a singularity then its own small dimension in his stomach, with his infinite pool of magic keeping him from becoming an external singularity by applying a natural force to the universe around him that causes forces between him and other objects to be "normal". The ability for him to carry Dedede's castle just by getting larger supports this theory, since he's reducing his inner dimension's density and letting the magic force "repel him" from Pop Star. The fact that the warp star can move 2.15E27 m/s (22 universes, or observed universes at the very least, in 9 seconds) means that he's not only built strong enough to withstand said speeds, but also is able to process moves that fast as well. Because he can inflate himself to twice the size and just about be neutrally buoyant with air under normal gravity, this means his approximate net mass might be around 0.04 kg, if not less. If the Warp Star is assumed to have an acceleration time equivalent to a zeptosecond, this means Kirby would be flying on his Warp Star with a net force of about 8.6E46 Newtons, which when considering ONLY the distance travelled by the Lor Starcutter would give Kirby an energy output of about 1.66E75 Joules -- approximately 415000x more energy than the entire observed universe, and at MOST 1660x greater than our entire UNIVERSE. This literally means that Kirby transcends the energy of the entire universe he's in, and is omnipotent enough (when boosted by the Miracle Fruit) to transcend the fabric of space-time to eat Sectonia's health bar. A possible reason why he possibly can't absorb heavier items without the Hypernova form is because his dimension's density is much, MUCH larger than the universe he's in. The Miracle Fruit in this case would cause his pocket dimension to have the energy to add more mass to his dimension, without causing any feedback due to forced repulsion of new mass.

Let’s say you take away all of his achievements, his attacks, and his weapons. He still is literally immortal in at least three different ways, due to not dying of age, having the ability to become invisible and intangible, the Ghost copy ability, literally never being seen with even a scratch even after running away from a black hole and the death of at least 30 gods (which he caused) so I’m assuming he’s incredibly durable and strong due to killing 30+ gods without even a scratch or a drop of sweat, destroying planets in a mini games for FUN, moving faster than light even without his warp star, and the fact he can bring himself back from the dead infinitely without copy abilities, and his Guard ability which isn’t even a copy ability and he has all the time with infinite use which makes him impervious to harm which can be held infinitely! And that’s still only mentioning one of his copy abilities, the ghost ability, which given that he can infinitely use copy abilities as long as he inhales them after being hit, he can use that infinitely too! Plus, if he’s using the Ghost ability, he can’t even lose it due to being invincible. And he has the GOD WEAPONS such as the sword that cuts anything, a hammer that shatters anything, and most importantly, the ARMOUR WHICH MAKES HIM INVINCIBLE! So if you list just the things that make him invincible alone from what I mentioned, you have the invincibility armour, the Guard Ability, the absurd durability of his body which I’m pretty sure is invincible, the Ghost Copy ability, and the Invisibility copy ability which makes him intangible and impervious to harm. And that’s just invincibility. There’s also the stuff that makes him immortal even if he does somehow die. The fact he can respawn endlessly and can bring himself back from the dead infinitely, the fact he can clone himself at will with no effort so even if he does die he can still just use one of the clones to live, doesn’t die of age, etc. That’s not even talking about how he can run faster than light since he outran a black hole even without his Warp Star which he can summon at will! Not to mention he also has a ridiculous amount of different Copy abilities, which he can store in the infinite void in his body for later use! He also has Inhale, which can specifically be used to get even more copy abilities from whoever he’s fighting! So if he’s fighting the ultimate life form or something and just inhales them, he’s now even stronger! That isn’t even mentioning his absurd strength, destroying planets by hitting a small baseball with just that much force that it travels at hundreds of light years of speed, which he’s doing for fun without even breaking a sweat. He also has the sword which can cut anything and the hammer that can obliterate anything, and that isn’t even accounting for the 30+ gods he killed with ease, and his ability to fly endlessly, and hold his breath infinitely, which doesn’t matter since he can breathe without oxygen and may not even need to breathe! Also, he literally can do all this in his sleep. And lastly, it’s canon that he has literally INFINITE POWER, and is still just in his baby state, and will one day get stronger than INFINITE POWER! So he’s faster than light with ease, has infinite power, is immortal and invincible in several different ways, and even if he does die he can still bring himself back from the dead, and can copy the abilities of whatever he’s facing. Not to mention his numerous other copy abilities, and the fact he can use inhale to just trap his opponent forever in his infinite void in his body. And he’s still just a baby.

I don't want to create an essay comment, but in short, every claim presented in the video can be debunked with relative ease. The scenarios are being taken out of context to be scaled for these calculations, and it inherently biased towards the favour of "strength." Nova? You literally *JUST* caused an explosion in his core. It's a miracle he's still working - hell, he even stopped ramming into Popstar... The world-smashing? A non-canon mini-game. If he was that beefy, then why does he show *legtimate struggle in his fights?* He even got stuck by a single - *a single* - vine in Triple Deluxe.

@@Gala_KM In actual kirby lore, there may be situations that are wacky or don’t make sense but under multiple instances in games. It’s been show that Kirby is immensely powerful. Kirby is at the very LEAST planetary as a iirc Galacta Knight was a planet buster. Kirby also killed Dark Nebula and defeated Malgolor with a crown that supposedly had limitless power. The issue with your argument is that its a childrens game, there are obviously going to be instances where kirby is shown weaker as usual such as triple deluxe. However this does not at all take away from his feats and immense power/speed shown. The issue with all arguments is the immense amount of vagueness in kirby’s powerscaling.

​@@blossom6857 Saying "its a childrens game so dont look into it" is inherently flawed, and fairly hypocritical. We can look into it for your side of the argument, but not for the other...? You say this as if its simply illogical, and that the "kirby is overwhelmingly powerful" idea is, without question, true. That's total cherrypicking for your opinion, and then ignoring anything that doesn't line up with your image. It's not an issue with *my* argument. There is no immense vagueness in his powerscaling, and it can all be explained somewhat fluently. Take, for example, the fact that almost every single "diety"-like creature *had* to be killed using an external weapon, not an extension of Kirby. Even the Star Allies Sparkler, arguably, cannot have been made purely by Kirby. Kirby + 3 Allies + Heart Spears + Dream Pedestal = Sparkler (which anyone can pilot btw...) Kirby never canonically fights Galacta Knight, and Galacta Knight's strength *outside* of his light/dark forms is debatable at best. Dark Nebula was trapped inside of Dedede's vault... and the king himself flounders around in battle. You cannot tell me that Dark Nebula is super capable when he's trapped inside of a small chest in Dedede's castle. ...and Kirby didn't fight Magolor alone. Literally with the other 3 heroes & had to use 3 different Ultra Abilities to even surpass Phase 1.

Has everyone forgotten about how he just deletes all his friends in star allies?

My brain logically knows and understands that Kirby is an all powerful entity, but his power is so incomprehensible I'm still unable to believe that he's as strong as he is.

Man I never saw the sun and moon fight as much in Kirby games then anywhere else lol they beef just seem to gravitate towards each other lol

Marx is supposed to kinda be like a opposite version of Kirby using his power for chaos and mischief instead of peace and kirby was able to stop him. And he didn’t even get a wish from nova or get a special item to aid him.
