Since you are probably the only reviewer I watch, I couldn't get a single one of them. Though If I did reviews the 'Reluctant Reviewer' would certainly be me. This is a clever and well put together little series.

Finally something different - Loved it. - I think recognised 3 maybe even 4 of the parody's Just when you think there's a bit of a formula to making an outdoor gear review Long walk on, some trees, long walk out, more trees, hold fingers up to the horizon, Say turned around, to describe lost. Lucky to have 85kg of kit on the quad bike, but you forgot a decent tent. sleeping in a mylar bivvy - with a sleep pad, a down pillow, under a tarp with fire wood to last days, you have matches/lighter but use a ferro rod or flint and steel.

This is possibly your best video yet..... i haven't watched any others, but....😊

Haha if you watch enough review channels, you know EXACTLY who you're parodying for each segment!

I wanted Luke TOGR to say Beans and Sausage , but no such luck .😂🙂

Next episode - Ben tries a cheeky stealth camp on Heathrow’s runway, just as dusk approaches…. ‘- I nearly died!’

It is a difficult question to answer but I advise just buying the bare essentials to begin with and if you like the hobby, then after researching spend as much as you can afford on gear within reason, like tent, mat, clothing, bag, or quilt. Otherwise you will end up just upgrading stuff which will inevitably cost you more in the long run.

One of the US outdoorsmen was sent a can of bear spray to review. Being 100% honest and agenda free he decided to give it a real world test by bluff charging a grizzly bear. And yeah, it killed him. Cheers everybody, cheers.

As it happens I am a fan of TOGR and Luke. Maybe a bit cheesy from time to time but I do trust his reviews . Many channels I did stop watching as it was always " this has got to be the best .... ever " and next week says something similar . Don't like the condescension sometimes or the pedagogic aspects but I guess in the US they have masses of dumb trolls to contend with . I also hate the "let's try camping in a cardboard tent or let's waste rolls of clingfilm , or let's crack this rock with fire and pretend we are troglodytes - and similar dumb stuff .

👍True. My peeve are those who build those stupid 'emergency shelters' out of 'natural materials' just to overnight in because they were too lazy to carry a tarp (and were stupid enough to get themselves in that 'situation') .. the tarp being set up in minutes, providing effective shelter and not having to destroy half an acre of forest in doing so.

I also watch TOGR. Generally, Luke is good .. although he 'has his moments'. Many of these modern You Tube 'Experts' don't like to have to 'fiddle'. I'm a Boomer .. we grew up up 'fiddling / making do / having to make a plan'.

Love your new videos, proper piss take and I recognise everyone your taking off. Keep it up Ben your killing it!!
