    Lol that ending where you realise you gotta get back to creekside... I feel that in my soul 😂 If you like ski mountaineering the ski season is far from over 😉 Once it is for real, well I'm a peakbagger so it's the same deal just with different conditions+gear. Instead of skiing off of summits, i just hike back down instead. But you get to go up without the weight of winter gear or being cold so it almost balances that out 😅 i know you do hikes and such so I'd say that content is a natural transition At least til you get enough sponsors to fly you to the southern hemisphere for year round skiing

  • @riseandalpine

    @riseandalpine

    Flute is absolutely safe to do alone as it is avalanche controlled. Usually there are others up there too. If you miss the last chair at 2:30 you have to schooch across from the bottom of the chair to connect with the burnt stew cat track or you can hike up to the cat track from the base of Symphony. So glad you enjoyed my summer videos of the past. Oregon Coast was such a dream trip and I would love to do something similar again.

    Jaaaames! Responding to your request for feedback. In the short term, I'd say let's definitely get a closing day video. Hopefully that's in the cards. For the rest of Spring and Summer please continue to post touring vids. That would be sick. I think views would stay strong as long as the video is focused on skiing. It's the other stuff that people are less interested in. Not a slight, it's just what the audience wants to see. Also if you're one of the only guys posting ski content in July and August you could be more likely to have a few videos go viral. Annnnd the novelty of lift accessed skiing in Summer months is always strong. Maybe a road trip to Mt. Hood, Mammoth or Squaw?? Thanks for a great season, keep shredding!

    Sick corn harvest. As soon as you said, "as many flute hikes in a day", I immediately thought of my home mountain, Kickinghorse. A couple of weeks ago I got a nasty hip pull skiing corn that turned into crusty, punchy, refried shmoo lower down on a different, more shaded aspect. So I'm out for a bit, but working on rehabbing. So thank you for the vicarious ski vibes! It's motivating me to rehab and heal up through some pretty significant pain. That hike just kills you. I'm not in. You guys are nuts. I am old guy. Hike is for snowboarders. YES do a copy claim. See if he gets away with it. Hike gets the views man. Look at that 50 Peaks guy form CA. He gets money from Switzerland. Swiss just give you money to ski. I love the Swiss. That's some crap corn. I'm not into it.
