King Richard as of now has grossed a total of $15,127,532. On average an American movie goer pays $9.73 a ticket. So around about 1.5 million people have seen King Richard. (Perspective:9.6million saw Encanto, 35million have seen Batman already) Chris rock has 142 tour dates left this year (that blew my mind; that's a hard working bloke). Every venue would have to hold 11,000 people for it to beat King Richards sales. As an example Dolby Theatre has 3400 seats which he has a few dates at. I can't see any large large Arenas to bump that number up(edit I found a couple but capacity max is still only 15,800 and one date, in England, and I've bought a ticket mwahahhahaha). I don't think the statement is true as much as I wish that it were, however it is very close and if he added a football stadium in and 20 more dates; it probably would rival the viewing figures of Will Smiths film that no one asked for or is interested in. The slap does account for a 25x rise in the volume of ticket sales so Chris Rock is super smart for staying silent; right now his tickets are flying and a week ago the sales were stagnant. In conclusion this statement will probably be correct come the end of the year but isn't right now.

Everything from what Will should have done to the build up of all the unresolved messes of the Smith's life to which Will needs to deal with rather than resorting to violence on another person. Very sad for Chris Rock he was a class act and I also use his reaction to prove that some people can control themselves.

I'm glad you are able to use this awful moment to help others in controlling their own anger, and shining a light on Chris's proper handling of the situation where it could have easily went south otherwise 👍👍👍!

Everyone focused on the slap, barely speaking about the fact that the “good guy, no profanity” Will Smith used the f word on live television and in an auditorium of his peers at the Oscars. He used it TWICE. And he didn’t even apologize to Rock when he got up there! I mean, the narcissism is staggering. In a comparison of hypocrisy only, it’s similar to the vanilla characters and previous squeaky clean public persona “played” by Bill Cosby (where he would actually and publicly condemn comics that used profanity) vs. who he was revealed to be in reality. We have all born witness to the self destruction of Smith’s career and legacy. Sad. Very sad indeed.

The BIGGEST shit is, lots of people mad about Ableism against Alopecia. Meanwhile Chris Rock has a LONG STANDING NOTICE about his Non-Verbal Learning Disability (NVLD). He cannot read social cues exhibited through body language and facial expressions. So, lets say, an upset person is storming the stage. A person that Chris has known for 25+ years! Chris has NO IDEA what the Non Verbal cues this person is putting off with his: wildly swinging arms, wide and quick stride, and strange smug/anger faces until he is SLAPPED by a professional boxer. Will Smith abused a Disabled person and people are bitching about a woman with Female Pattern Baldness. She has her eyelashes and Eyebrows so she IS NOT like the majority of Alopecia sufferers!! They should both be ostracized from all aspects of society forever and pay Chris Rock for damages.
