Jesus as Prophet: (Matthew 21:11, Luke 7:16, John 4:19), acknowledged himself as prophet Mark 6:4. Jesus fulfills the requirements of prophet in title, word, and work. He is the ultimate prophet as he is the very word of God (John 1:1), he didn't speak mere words like human prophet he himself is that word who made in flesh (John 1:14) it means old testament prophets spoke the word of God, Jesus is that word of God who prophets spoke, he is final and ultimate revelation from God. Matthew 17:1-3 where Jesus transfigured and showed Elijah and Moses to symbolise he is the fulfilment of laws and prophets.

And provided that God the Son went into a human form, it's not so hard to understand the two aren't mutually exclusive. 3. And how exactly does John 4:19 disprove Jesus's divinity?

@@Orthosaur7532 I think you understand by interpretation of calling Jesus as Prophet wrongly I'm not saying he is normal Prophet a prophet is a person who delivers word of God, prophesy about future events, I'm saying Jesus is that very word of God every prophets spoke about that word becomes flesh that's the final and ultimate revelation of God. In other words he is divine prophet

I wouldnt put prophet under Jesus name. Thats what the pharisees and the crowd said about him. When he asked his disciples who do they think they are, they named off the prophets but one of them said "You are the Christ" Jesus holds the title of son of God, word made flesh. If we label him as a prophet we are no better than islam saying he was a prophet

There’s a difference, the Pharisees and Muslims believe Jesus is ONLY a prophet, to be the Messiah you HAVE to be a prophet, how else are you supposed to spread the kingdom of God, it just so happens Jesus is both the Prophet AND God

Deuteronomy 18:15 15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; This is actually a Messianic prophecy.

The Lord Jesus Christ is not prophet, he is God incarnate
