The guy wanted Bellingham. He waited two seasons with no real transfer kitty based on FSG telling him he’d have Bellingham. They then screwed him over. He wanted a defensive midfielder- they played a PR game with a BS Caiceido bid and instead gave him £12m for Endo. With this squad he has performed miracles. No wonder he walked. He has nothing to apologise for. Heartbreaking hearing this. Sooner the fanbase wake up to the owners the better as being in a title race will be a thing of dreams from next season.

Liverpool fans don't realize that FSG is now in the driving seat, poised to fleece the club for millions and invest in basketball teams in the USA. The pressure is off for them; if the team fails, the new manager will be the one facing the chop. There's no pressure on FSG, as they'll ride on Klopp's legacy for the next five years. They'll justify failures by saying, "We didn't win because we no longer have Klopp," while they extract hundreds of millions from the club. Trust me this is what they did with baseball team they own, there is a reason why they wanted the glazer's out, it's the us system

Liverpool had a great season,for a team that was in transition on the midfield they did great, next season if they can score the chances they have... pfff they will be flying im very happy with this season, despite all those setbacks they overperform, how someone can dare to be pissed about liverpool this year, after all that? The first team injured all the time, Diaz dad kidnap situation, the schedule, the points lost to VAR... if you dont understand the importance of a team that fights like that, even if they dont win it at the end, you are not a real liverpool fan. Klopp is awesome and he will always be one of the best.

Agree with a lot of that but there's no denying that the team performance have inexplicably collapsed recently against beatable opposition and Klopp's last season is going out with a whimper. It's just very sad to see for us fans.

Dunno why he puts so much effort into this crap, should just save himself for the training ground. A leader has to know how to protect himself.

The whole team is embarrassing. They bottle it, and than go back in trainging and smile like nothing bad happened. The last 2-3 weeks have been shocking! They just pass the ball around the back, and take no chance going forward. Defence is just gifting goals EVERY f"#¤ing game. What the hell are they doing on the training pitch. Shocking perfermances every game! Headless chickens running around doing nothing.

Sorry,I”m not happy with Liverpool performances lately not but your reaction is extreme. Did you say the same 4 years ago when they beat everybody? I think I you take everything for granted. Look at how Liverpool were 12 months ago, disaster, the fact that we are in a title race this season is ridiculous and Klopp deserves so much credit for this but they have just run out of stem now, simple as that and no need for hyper criticism.

Jurgen has nothing to apologise for, he’s been performing miracles for the club since day one, the owners haven’t backed him these last couple of seasons and it’s all come home to roost now, devastated it’s ended this way for him !

Your decision is all wrong since you decide to play a strong squad when we are leading 5-0.

We don't have the same profile players like Mane and Firmino.

I'm seeing 2 people saying Gakpo should be sold and Nunez should be kept. Gosh Nunez is the one that has to be sold. He has had 2 seasons to prove himself but I honestly believe his at his peak and can't get any better than this. Gakpo is a vital player for Liverpool's attack. There was a huge difference in the last game Liverpool won when Gakpo and Jota were there.

What about the other 30 P/L games, excellent effort from where we were back in August. We really need to understand why Klopp went public with his resignation, it makes no sense, completely derailed the players. Everyone thinking where or will they be playing next season is not helpful. Should have went public after the last fixture. YNWA.

I'm really gutted for HIM. I so wanted his final season to finish with the PL title. A top 3 finish is still a great achievement this season. However, I think changes need to take place during the summer to address the lack of being able to convert chances.

Klopp deserves to be sent off with wins going forward and a big smile on his face. For over 9 years, he has stayed fully faithful and committed to the club, the players and fans till the end. He has given so much to Liverpool FC and the fans. I'm going to miss him so much, through the ups and downs, I've always been glad and grateful to have him as our manager and always will. Same at Borussia Dortmund. He switched off and the team failed. Which brought him to Liverpool. He has magic. When he doesn't the team doesn't know how to connect... He is facing team after team that wants his scalp. Liverpool no longer knows what it wants....The team he faces know exactly what they want... Ends in a whimper.... very sad...

The last five games were simply disappointing. The team on the pitch did not play with heart. Jürgen deserves a better departure. But I have to say one thing. The quality of the squad has deteriorated.

Players are ok. It is Klopp made transition team where players feel uncomfortable and not linked

at this point the ship is not only already sinking, but started to sink a while ago, when Vvd bottled the Arsenal game, and Quansa the Man utd game. Those were too heavy mistakes,, that echoed over in morale on the next games. The atalanta games were another nail in the coffin.

On the bright side it has been better than last year. I thnk early season really got our hopes up. Still so disappointed

Not all Klopps decision but we went back to the team that was losing before our impressive win at Fulham. Gakpo was unexpectedly absent and he didn't want to use Danns. We need goals from midfield and we should have gambled with Gravenberch over Szoboszlai. Lots of smaller things resulted in a 2 - 0 loss.

Liverpool have largely had a very good season, whereas Everton have been shite and I'm totally gutted that we suffer defeat by them. Their fans will be having street parties until Christmas Day at this rate. 😕

Klopp has been let down so much by our players this season. Everything looked rosey 4 or 5 weeks ago with us going well in 4 trophies, now maybe we will be in a fight for 4th place in the Prem, all because of our players. Klopp will be remembered for generations just like Shankley & Paisley. Some of these players won't live long in our memoeries.

The mental turn around wasn't there for this game. Bemused to understand how it would be for the next one.

Ego got the better of him in the end but we had a wonderful ride. I think the best is yet to come, the young players we have are top class and with the right guidance they can kick it up a level. We're in a much better situation than we were when he came in that's for sure.

If Trent gets played at right going forward, we will always struggle to keep clean sheets. Hangs a leg out instead of challenging properly and is scared of getting hurt in the air. Doesn't matter how good a passer he, cannot be in a position where there is a battle to be won.

Take a step back and its been a great season. Its just our expectations changed when we found ourselves in a title race. The truth is arsenal are a very very good football team and City are City and to be in the mix with these guys with a brand new midfield is an achievement in itself.

Yap...like jurgen said, still not good enough after brilliant run into the final part of the season. However, very proud of the team and tons of exciting moments through out the season.

Mo Salah should now become a pundit. All these attackers;Luiz Diaz, Nunez, Salah, szoboslai,Gakpo keep passing the ball backward as if they supposed to score against themselves. Jota is our best player right now

People talking about Nunez and I agree but what about Diaz. This is the issue with modern football "intellectual" discussion with people prioritising tenacity and "performance" over goal scoring which wins games. He chose a wrong straight ball hit which hit the crossbar instead of a curler and got applauds for that. But nothing comes close to what Nunez did for his blasting at the keeper finish. Last iteration, Liverpool or Edwards chose strength and tenacity for midfielders and technique for strikers. Of course, all had both. This time, Klopp and co without Edwards selected strength and tenacity for strikers and technique for midfielders. Of course, all have both but there is no good finisher in this team except Jota and Salah on good days.

Totally disagree with his reasoning around Danns - and how “it’s not the physical game to bring Danns in - he’d be ‘killed’ by Tarkowski & Branthwaite”……utter nonsense! Protecting Danns from what exactly?? Ridiculous…..and was it the same against Palace? Utd?? Taking away the young lad’s chances to help us ever since he dropped him pretty much after Forest in the league. Crazy he’s not been featuring - right at the time the other forwards have been pissing blanks 🤦‍♂️

As much as Klopp has achieved great things in his time at Liverpool… Really cannot excuse the fact that he clearly has no appetite for a challenge race. If he was so ‘tired’ he should have just told Liverpool fans how it was. If he had been blunt about the situation then they would have had the option to get someone else in to motivate them for the last leg of the season. Instead he reassured fans that he was staying until the end of the season and it feels like he has pretty much sabotaged their chances. As for reassurance of a ‘top manager’, I’m not sure how he can promise that unless it’s already arranged and fans are not being informed. Liverpool went from creating stupid amounts of chances with a team full of youth players to looking like they can’t create much at all with their first team back. They have looked thoroughly unprepared the last couple of weeks. Tiredness is no excuse - all the other teams play this many games. All the other managers manage this many games. Liverpool may not have the luxury of Man City’s budget but they are not exactly poverty stricken lol. Klopp has been great at Liverpool but he should have gotten out earlier and been realistic with fans if he saw this coming. He must have known from training sessions over the last few months if there was issues. As for mentality - it feels like his early departure announcement completely backfired in hindsight and he has not been able to do anything to lift his players. Salah looks like he is not remotely trying. Players look like they have no appetite to press for the ball or show character. There are large portions of the game where sideways passes are the only option because no forwards are making runs etc. This is not physical tiredness it is a poor mentality and that stems from the manager and staff. Can’t help but feel like they all know they’re leaving and have given up trying. It is what it is though. Has been fun watching Liverpool’s journey the past few seasons.
