He has made a big impression at Feyenoord in the last 3 years with 2 prizes. He makes players better, they are much fitter. He always has his say in the media and is very intelligent in his answers. When Slot is thinking, he usually picks his ear or nose or first takes a sip of water. Too bad he's leaving us, but I hope you have fun. I wish all the fans of Liverpool great succes the next season.
Is this LFC or Klopp FC? Why the obsession with finding a "klopp 2.0"? Were other teams who needed attacking coach blind to Arne's existence? I fear LFC are just doing the same thing they do with scouting players like Núñez, get someone top teams know about but don't really go after, without asking why haven't the big fish snatched them up? Or tried!

As a lifetime Feyenoord fan I hate to see him go - but he deserves it and I wish him the absolute BEST with you guys at Anfield. This is a smart, stubborn, well spoken, EXTREMELY meticulous (yet team-player) coach that will a) get along perfectly fine with all the usual pressure (off pitch) that comes from being at one of the greatest clubs in the world. b) get along perfectly with the "powers to be" within overal club management. c) get along with the players because of his honest and clear communication. None of that ETH weirdness in him at all. Klopps´ boots are certainly hard to fill but I have absolute fath that your new leader will get sh*t done and improve Liverpool even further!

He gives me Klopp vibes in the open way he speaks and his confidence in doing so, very different from the cold and calculating character of someone like Ten Hag. I've never broken up with a woman, as I married the love of my life I started dating in High School, but I do feel Klopp leaving us will be as close as I get. And while it'll hurt, I choose 2 things. Im going to cherish Klopps time with us, and I choose to be very excited about our new gaffer. I like the way he sets up his teams and trust Edwards to bring in the right man. CL next season, we can really do some damage if our lads buy in.
Don't know enough about him or their league to form an opinion on whether he is the right man or not, thr job is huge not just taking over Klopp but inheriting a squad in need of an overhaul, especially upfront! I'd like to see Salah & Diaz stay, but Nunez and Jota just aren't up to it, Nunez has had long enough and just hasn't been good enough, sure it's nice to see him being chaotic, he's fast and strong but he's not prolific enough and hasn't formed any chemistry with his teammates, Jota is made of glass, reminds me of sturridge in that he has bundles of quality but just isn't strong enough and can't be relied upon. Will the owners be willing to spend the vast amount needed to bring in the quality we've been missing upfront? To buy the level of Origi,Bobby,Mane now would easily cost hundreds of millions
He is confident in his body language and intonation. English is not his first language but he is very intelligent and will improve quickly. Besides, never understood Sir Alex Ferguson without subtitles either. I’m Dutch so that says a lot but mostly managers from Italy, Spain etc coming new in the BPL are even harder to understand in English than Slot here? He is better than Ten Hag in his leadership and I am an Ajax supporter. Even we are very impressed by his work. Liverpool is a beautiful club, I really hope this will be a great match. The Dutch need some extra influence on world football because we are not the force we once were.

Our saying for a couple of years has been “in Slot we trust”. I can truly recommend it to all Liverpool supporters. There is no doubt in my mind that he’ll bring big (new) successes to Liverpool. And we’ll be following it closely! YNWA

Don't get carried away with this appointment.... Everyone's expectations are high because we're so desperate to kick on from klopp. Klopp is/was a one off. This Arne Slot guy has done very well (by all accounts) in the Dutch League, far removed from the demands of the premiership league! I hear from the opening segments of this show, there's a little bit of klopp within him, there's a little bit of Guardiola in there too. What a lot of rubbish (being polite). Arne is his own man with his own set of skills & it's going to take a bit more than having a bit of charisma to succeed here! And I have to say, I think L. F. C didn't/dont have much to choose from, when it came to who was available for the job. Klopps departure was always going to unbalance the club, but no matter how long a notice he gave, I don't believe there's anyone that stands out to take over & improve on what we currently have/had. Mo Salah's recent antics suggests there's going to be worsening problems ahead. Would have wished the Xabi Alonso's rumour would have come off, but I think even for him, this appointment would have been to big, & I understand the reasons why he stayed put.

Give him some time. And you will love him. A very relaxed man. And he makes players better. We are very sad he's leaving us. I think there are grown men crying in silence. But Liverpool is a fantastic club.
