Evernote Templates are broken and driving me crazy. But there's a solution!
I believe that the @BendingSpoons deal was the best thing that ever happened to #Evernote, but some new features may be adding more confusion to old problems. For example, I'd love Federico's team to tackle the huge mess #Templates was already making.

When you make a copy of your template in the workaround case, the date of the note is also copied. Changing the date of the note is not as easy as before. There should be a button to set the date to NOW. Cheers!

Yes, that's a big problem. In the past, it would be created with “today's” date, but unfortunately, they changed that.
I'm going to try this Template folder idea. I've already copied several of my templates to it. I'll see how it goes. :)

Waiting for the daily notes release =) Is somewhen expected?

I'm not sure when it will be released, but I think it would be a big mistake to release it with only those three templates. They should at least allow us to choose not to use any of them.
Olá Vlad, meu nome é Charles, moro no Brasil e acompanho seus dois canais por ser usuário do Evernote. Procuro aprender o máximo possível sobre a ferramenta, pois não quero utilizar várias ao mesmo tempo e devo dizer que gosto muito do elefantinho, porém, concordo com todas as suas observações sobre os templates, é de fato bastante frustrante as limitaçoes de configuração; inclusive existe uma outra que você não citou que é o fato de não poder utilizar dois templates em uma mesma nota (se existe essa possibilidade desconheço) De qualquer modo vou usar a alternativa que você apresentou. Aguardo ansioso pelos próximos vídeos. abraço
If I edit my different header styles, save the styles to be used thoughout the note ("update to match selection") and then save as a template (or copy the note) all those styles are reset to default. Why? It didn't happen in earlier releases of V10.

I have already sent it their way and also tagged Federico on Twitter. Let's hope they watch it because this is a huge mess of wires that needs to be addressed sooner than later. The longer they wait to fix it, the worse it will become.
