Years ago, I was an Electronic Technology instructor and had a night student who worked where they made Snickers. Every so often he would bring me a bag of Snickers, either regular or snack size that were made that day. I never tasted something so wonderful as they had not aged in packaging, warehousing, distribution, shipping and delivery to a store for final purchase. They were really FRESH and oh so delicious.

And free tastes better too
So, while stationed in Saudi during Operation Desert Storm, our unit stayed at some barracks that were used by the locals. They converted their small store into a shoppette/mini PX for us! They had a freezer full of all kinds of goodies aka ice cream AND they had the Snickers ice cream bar!! They couldn't keep in stock. Every day my soldiers and I would get one.....THAT made our day! It's prob one of my favs now, because of that!
I’ve had and liked many different candy bars in my 57 years. Snickers has always been my go to though. 😋
When I started out as a design engineer in the electronics industry that is all we engineers ate to keep us going.
Love snickers and Mars bars. As a Canadian I've also developed a taste for the Crispy Crunch bar up here too.
25 years ago I worked at a hardware store. Our number one selling sku was a Snickers bar.
The Ice cream bars are sooo good!

Yes, they are obscene.
I am in love with dark chocolate peanut M&M's, but I really like the Mars bar.
Love Snickers! Would love to try a xtra Carmel with pecans yum!❤
What a process! I can understand why they are a favorite. Unfortunately, I don't like caramel, but if I see a peanut butter Snickers, I will usually buy it. Very good!
I like the Snickers without the penuts aka Milkyway.
I like Snickers Dark
When working in a 24 hour/7 days a week industry with a day/swing and graveyard shifts many men took 2 miniscule "pain" pills, each containing 33 mg of caffeine. Me? A Snickers bar and a mug of black coffee kept my eyes wide open. Love those Snickers bars.
Basically the original snickers was more healthier than the one with 17 ingredients made in 2019.

At the age of 55 Snickers was always my last choice, I preferred Milky Way or Three Musketeers. I do love the dark chocolate almond version way better.
The good days back in the 50,s candy bars 5 cents,we would go around with wagon looking for pop bottles @ 2cents to get some candy money😂😊

We lived 2+ miles down a highway from the flyspeck town with a gas station, in Oregon. People had to pay a deposit on all cans and bottles. We would walk down the highway picking up cans and bottles, and go buy Junk-food! LOL
Snickers has always been my favorite candy since 1952! I will eat others but Snickers is it for me.
Snikers bars are the Mars company. Their first huge selling candy bar was the Milkyway. Ment to taste like a chocolate milkshake. They actually bought the ( milk chocolate) from the Hershey company. Milk chocolate was hard to come by at that time. Milkyway bars where lighter and the same size as other bars so they were selling you less product or weight for the same price!, Just saying! I love my snickers and kit kat and Hershey's kisses and Reese's peanut butter cups and,, and,,and,,and!😅😂

I miss the Mars Bars, when they were the best in the 70's. I tried it a couple years ago and they didn't taste the same way.
They are good and filling!
Only the original Snickers is the best ❤ Better than the rest 😋 ohhhhh I'm moist 😮
What I would give for an original recipe Snicker’s bar. 😢
They "refined" their process. "I've got a bad feeling about this..."
Some 50 years ago, I was an HND electrical electronic student, doing a six month spell in industry, I had a placement at a well known UK chocolate manufacturer. In the factory was a room where they stored the liquid plain chocolate mixture, it was known as the conche room. I was told by fellow electricians that, it was an unpleasant room to work in, as the fumes made your eyes water. Of course being the 'newbie', one day I was given the task of doing a job in there. Which I duly did. They were surprised to discover that I could happily work in there with no adverse affects.
Would love to try the one with hazelnut! This is a great vid…fun to now know how it got its name.

Well, if you like Hazelnut, you'll love the Snickers version. It's VERY GOOD!
I enjoyed learning where the name came from - the name of the family's favorite horse, Snickers! 🐴
Really interesting video. Just a thought. Personally I was hoping to see how all those bars got wrapped. But maybe that's material for another video. Thanks for this one.
Would love to try Snickers with pecans and Snickers with hazelnut.
Snickers, hummm one of my all time favorites~! Shalom
love them all
My favorite is the good old fashioned original.
This is my favorate candy bar.
Just the original snicker is loved by are family thanks for the tour
Great Product. Regular Snickers and Snickers with Pecans
Awesome! Yummy 😋 ❤
Now I am hungry for a Snickers.
I like the classic style
I like the Mars candy bar and the midnight milkyway
WOW! ALL Snickers sound good. Will have to find the others! ONLINE PROBABLY. I WOULD SUGGEST THEY GO INTO BREAKFAST BARS TOO.
Thanks, however the video is not matching the audio. Its just a cycle of the overall process 😐
1. Zero 2. Outrageous 3. Milky Way
By far, Snickers is my all-time favorite candy bar. No doubt, whatsoever! I absolutely love them. As far as candy bars go, there is NO candy bar better than Snickers. I have often wondered if employees take candy bars home or does the Mars employer give workers a discount? I must admit that, if I worked there, I would never pay for Snickers candy bars again. I’m just sayin’! Peace.

I worked in a confectionary factory for over 10 years (1978-1989) and unfortunately loved to sample the fresh product most days. I can not talk for Mars factories, but we were able to most weeks bulk buy the product.
Dont forget there is a Snickers coffee creamer as well.
And, most certainly..the flash frozen Snickers then delicately sliced using a prosciutto ham slicer to escalope the frosty bar into wafery thinness..that literally flies in one's waiting and drooling..yap!...the yummiest!
YUM!
I am a senior, when I was a young girl the Hershey bars were a nickle, and later I remember the Mars candy bars were 10 cents. I loved candy.
i love the double caramal snickers bar
I love the almond snickers
Plus you can throw one in the swimming pool now and again!
70s,, 80s , 90s, I worked for a company that delivered the big three chocolate companies and most of the others product! Can you get tierd of candy??? Name it,, it was on our trucks! Yes ,, there were damage products. Yes ,, you could get tired of the candy that you once loved! 😊😊
Your video is too amateurish. Select scenes just keep getting repeated throughout. When you're talking about specific steps in the process, it would be better if you actually showed video of that step being performed. I.e. when you talked about making the nougat, you were showing video of the peanut layer being made. You can do better.

The nougat layer was much thicker in the 70's.
I used to work for See’s Candies. We use the same chocolate as Mars company.🍫
I liked the protein one but can’t find it anywhere now
“Tons of sugar” is the reason why I don’t eat candy bars.
Used to be called marathon in uk no6 line made them and topic and mars bars if needed do a run then 6 hour change over
I like snickers bar
the snickers bar is my favorite chocolate bar. nothing else comes close.
Where can we buy the ones with pecans?!?!
Mumm um um eat em up !
I've eaten two Snickers in my lifetime.
Nice camershel , serious too , 💝🐕
Let’s move to Waco Texas to be close to fresh Snickers They used to cost a dime in the 1960s Now they’re 2 bucks at CVS
If I had to pick a Survival Energy Candy Bar...........it would be Snickers. Many a hunting and fishing trip was finished strong due to a Snickers in the tackle box or game bag!
I read on Google that a spokesperson from the Mars company said that the ingredients are still the same.
I love the Snickers dark chocolate but I can’t find it anymore where I live so I don’t eat the candy bar now.
Snickers has been my favorite candy bar for years (I'm now 67). These days, I'm only able to eat one now and again (borderline diabetic). Nevertheless, still my favorite candy bar!!!
At one time, I loved Snickers bars, but once they changed formulations they gave me heart palpitations, so no more for me.
Snickers are now made with bioengineered ingredients. What used to be my favorite candy bar is now no more. Same with M & M's.
How often are these machines cleaned from the food/ sugar that gets on them? Are the machines shut down for a day?

I used to love the Snickers Bars, after they made the recipe change, I can't stand the taste of them. Most people I talk to say they never noticed a change but my taste buds say otherwise. I have had another one since. Too bad, the only constant in the universe is change, so I have said goodbye to Snickers.
Original and then the almonds but I have not had all the variations
in the UK they were called Marathon Bars for years then they changed to Snickers

Snickers with brownies
Where is the machine that shrinks them? That thing is working flawlessly. Candy bars are a joke nowadays. An expensive joke.
Don’t forget the bioengineered food ingredients
Growing up, until in my 70s I have loved snickers and baby ruth. Now that I am in my 80s, I still loved them but I don't buy them anymore. I lied to myself when I reasoned "it is not good for my health any way". remember it will, when that supermarket opens near me a few years back, the snicker bars to be specific cost as little as 4 bars for $1 (yes one dollar). Now it is as high as $1.50 or more a bar in some places.

Snickers is the best , and it’s named after a horse what could be better ?
Here is Scotland they were Marathon bars for decades until Mars decided to change them, along with Opal Fruits that are now Starburst. WHat was wrong with their original names?
@JeffDeWitt
11 ай бұрын
That's interesting about the Starburst. Many years ago, like in the late 60's, there was only one place I knew of that sold Starburst, and on the package it said "Imported from England by Jack Candies, Ltd". I wonder if Mars had to change the name in Scotland when it bought the company?

@@JeffDeWitt Hi there Jeff, according to WIki and i quote "Many brands first created and sold in the United Kingdom were later introduced in the United States, including Starburst (original UK brand name Opal Fruits) and Skittles., and it Mr Mars eldest son that brought the Mars company to the UK as their European leg of their business (but plus he fell out with his dad)" I can only tell you that a lot of us 60's babies loved Opal fruits. Wiki has a whole about all it's beginnings. Nice to have spoken to you, even if it is through text. Norah
...the second group of ingredients is........*
Milky Way
I thought that they changed the recipe up. Too sweet it does not taste like it was back 2000 back 90 n 80s
Like everything else they keep getting smaller and the price higher.
The video is confusing, the visual doesn’t match the audio and some of the narrative is out of order. Could do way better
Sugar and peanuts.
European Snickers is the best. Different taste
Fairly sure they come out of a dogs behind...
They cost between $2 and and $2.50 that's your idea of affordable I don't think so I used to be able to get a whole six-pack from us than that
Snickers was named for a horse
