Annie Lennox has a beautiful voice, but Dave Stewart's accompaniment is a masterclass. His contribution is often overshadowed by Annie's amazing voice and presence, but he is an incredible artist too.
one of the best things about 52 years old is the fact that i lived my teenage years in the 80's. that is priceless and I am grateful !!!

Fantastic song. The chorus is so powerful and true. Dave and Annie are such brilliant song writers. Eurythmics were a phenomenal 80s band.👍

The real question or phenomenon was it the groups bands or maybe like a very very small tick in the life on this planet that it seemed like almost all the music and musicians were phenomenal. I truly believe there was a gate ring of the best right there. If anyone has ever seen that poster that is all bands and musicians names in the shape of a tree and it’s roots and branches that I believe if a biologist could actually go and study the rings of that tree like they do with real ones. They would say there was a good big run of good years with plenty of food and water and the air that this tree produced sustained us all. What a voice she has. 🐢12-18-2023

Annie put so much personality in her songs-along with unbelievable distinctive voice that was given to her and not to forget Dave Stewart- always kept his great performance in background but he is recognised as one of most creative musical artist and in first line of my guitar hero’s…
She has that Diva Pop Rock stage presence, that is spiced with ridiculous confidence coming straight out of that amazing brilliant voice that is a pure rarity. When you add to that Dave Stewart a musical virtuoso - songwriter and charisma on stage, it is like they are 6 ppl on stage. They are just two of them. And that's the magic of Eurythmics.
She's from another planet, one with higher humanity

Definitely mate - David is up there as one of the best guitarists of all time, even though he doesn’t appear on those almighty “lists”. They were a beautiful music pairing, it’ll be a long time - if ever - before something else compares.

What a fantastic show this was. December 1999 at the O2. So christmassy without being schmaltzy, Such class.
É verdade que mtos anos se passaram desde o lançamento dessa música,meados de 87,mais ainda sim podemos ver como alguém que fez sucesso no passado,ainda consegue manter uma voz tão boa e potente para,ela não precisou manter a qualquer custo a blz física,o que hoje em dia é a preocupação principal,"cantoras" e "cantores"se preocupam mto com cabelo,roupas e mtas outras coisas,menos em saber cantar verdadeiramente,a compôr coisas boas. Talvez por essas e por outras razões a música tem se afundado a cada ano que passa.

não existe mais as mesmas essências das canções, hj existe porcaria x lixo. Eu até hj escuto as mais belas canções da minha infância... Escuta o Abba também, a bela voz da Frida e Agnetha, a combinação perfeita.
