Brilliant to see Luke back with a second ESM. Smaukstelis, what an incredible sportsman, totally chilled and happy, so close to winning his first ESM. And Oleksii, so gutted for him, really wanted to see him get back to his old best and then this, another injury.

Strongman is a sport like no other. To see Stoltman finish his 13th rep and immediately turn to support his competitor and cheer him on. I can't think of any other sport that is like this.

Absolutely awesome to see all 3 of those guys podium. Especially Luke winning it for the second time. Love that guy. He got better. It looked like Big Tom was proud. The 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Brothers.
I was there it was a great night! A dead heat was definitely the right call for the Castle Stones with Stoltman and Smaukstelis. Even when they slowed it down it was way too hard to determine a winner. I literally do think their last hands came off at the very same time. It was insane lol.

Got a tear in my eye for Luke, couldn't wish a win upon a nicer fella. Congratulations brother👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

Hope Gav gets back to his best soon, he's really struggled these last two comps
Awesome coverage guys, and im very happy for Luke, Avars and NVKV...congratulations guys
Let's goooo! Three great guys on the podium!
Looks like it was a great comp and close to the end. Ondřej is looking like he has a very bright future, not since Belsak and Novikov have I been this impressed
Well done the HIGHLAND OAK is back 👏 🏆 🏆
It is so awesome to see Luke doing so well this year, having a child can change your whole outlook and focus on life, I think Luke fatherhood suits Luke
So happy for Luke!!
So pleased for Luke, gutted for Olexi I don’t want to see anyone injured. Luke’s strategy on the deadlift nearly backfired on him, he timed it to do all 5 and was so close but just couldn’t get that last weight over his knees, that meant he was one of the first out on the Viking press, so had very little rest. Obviously he’s a mountain when it comes to pressing but I feel he could have got another 2 if he’d either gone faster on the first 4 deadlifts or lifted the 5th, therefore giving him an extra few minutes of rest. Either way at 39 to come out and win Europes strongest man is a massive feet and I couldn’t be happier for him. The young lad (sorry I would spell his name wrong) has so much potential, he would have podiumed if he could have lifted that last stone, he was slower than Luke and Aivers so would have dropped the half a point lead he had on them but he is definitely one for the future. What we have learnt is nothing is a given until all events have been done. The stones have always been notorious for mistakes (I would though have preferred to see the heavier stones, this is after all Europes and I believe less chance of injury as competitors take that split second longer to make sure they have got the grip etc). Olexis may not have got injured but he also wouldn’t have managed the last stone. The right result in the end. Well done to Luke and all the competitors, what a great show 👍🇬🇧
Respect to Oleksii!!!
It's safe to say that Luke is back! Thank you so much for taking us behind the scenes, Loz and Liz.

What a show. Before it even started we got a pick with Hicksy, then the "Heroes" video almost had me in tears. The competition itself was unreal. Delighted for Luke. Awesome tribute to Mark Felix. Then after the show we got to meet Mags, Kaz, Mark, and then a cheeky pic with you. Made my day. Massive well done to everyone involved. One of the best nights of my life. Stopped at Kirkstall abbey on the way back to the airport and bumped into Cambi. 🙂 Sincere apologies to Aunty Liz, I think I just handed you my phone to get a pick with your hubby. Apologies if I was rude.
Thanks, very exciting! So pleased for Luke.
Cheers Liz for getting this out so quick! Show looked like a good one. Great to see Luke in form again. Gutted for novikov!
So happy for Luke. What an amazing transformation. Prayers that Novikov will heal and be back soon.
That look Oleskii gave Luke on the podium was special, you could see he was genuinely pleased for Luke. Legends all.
Awesome coverage Liz !! Awesome comp !! Sad for Oleskii !! You can see the love between Luke & Him !! ❤ well done Luke !! New coach & your hard work brings home the Gold ❤
The amount of people and the enthusiasm they showed for this event is my favorite part. The sport seems to be growing and these athletes are some of the rarest people walking earth and they deserve all the attention they can get. I hope that eventually there will be enough money to go around and not have to work other jobs just to get by.
More beautiful, heartwarming, authentic coverage brought to us right away. Thank you Liz and Loz. Your videos show the reality of the sport better than most official broadcasts.
3 fine individuals right there...Congratulations lads well done
Another superb vid from Liz. Top work both of you.
Awesome job Nick!!
I was in the crowd with my dad and I loved it but the Stoltmans will never loose they always come back looking like a champ.
Cambi deserves more invites after this performance
It's so endearing to see how supportive the Stoltman brothers are with each other. What a performance by Luke! 💪🏴
Another great video! Got shivers at the end.
I can honestly say, for me, it doesn't matter who actually wins, it's always a good showing from all of the competitors that I'd be happy for any of them to win
Great competition!
It was great watching it live! I am a highschool student and I can confirm that this was more dramatic and stressful than my final exams. I am so grateful that the judges gave both Luke and Aivars the same points for the stones. You honestly can't tell who was first. I am now leaning towards Luke. Give me 10 more replays and maybe I change my answer and then again...😂

Thic Nic is so fun to follow. I remember watching him back before his Open days and the absolute unit he's turned into is incredible. Nic for WSM!

Liz’s footage is stellar. I prefer it to most streams.
Super happy for Luke! I hope Oleskii wasn’t hurt too bad and has a speedy recovery. No one wants to win because someone else got hurt.
we are already blessed by the presence of saint thiccolas in the first 30 seconds
Buzzing to see Luke reclaim the title, you can see how much it means to him. Has to be one of the closest giants shows I’ve ever seen. Absolutely gutting for novikov with his bicep. Hope he heels up quick. He did very well to come back after a bad start as well Also fojtu is going to be a monster in a year or 2. Crazy that he’s that good at only 22 years old. He’s definitely going to be a problem for people at wsm in the groups
