이번에 올린 영상은 Eugène Gigout 유제느 지구(1844.3.23. Nancy ~1925.12.9. Paris)의 Toccata B minor(토카타 B 단조)입니다.
E.Gigout는 프랑스 오르간 연주자이자 후기 낭만주의 음악의 작곡가입니다.
Camille Saint-Saëns 까뮤 생상스의 제자였던 그는 62년 동안 파리의 St.Augustine Church의 오르가니스트였고 교사이자 작곡가로,즉흥연주의 대가로 널리 알려졌습니다.
그가 배출한 제자 중에는 또 다른 훌륭한 오르간 연주자이자 작곡가인 Leon Boëllmann 레옹 뵐망이 있습니다.
Toccata는 오르간을 위한 10개의 작품 (Dix Pièces pour orgue 1890)에 수록되어 있습니다.
이 곡은 예전부터 연주해보고픈 곡이었는데 작년에 virtual organ Nancy를 만나고 나서 이 곡이 생각났습니다. “바로 이거야!” 정말 오르간 소리의 향연에 빠져 즐기면서 연습했습니다.
“손이 가요~손이 가~엄마 손 아이 손 ~자꾸만 손이 가~“(예전의 새우깡 cf송) 바로 그 새우깡같은 매력! 치고 또 치고 싶은 중독성있는 곡~듣기에도 중독성이 있을수 있으니 주의하세요~ㅎㅎ
제 연주가 아니라 Gigout의 곡이요~^^

The video I uploaded this time is Toccata B minor by Eugène Gigout (1844.3.23. Nancy ~1925.12.9. Paris).
He was a French organist and composer of post-Romantic music.
A disciple of Camille Saint-Saëns , he was an organist at St. Augustine Church in Paris for 62 years, widely known as a teacher, composer and master of improvisation.
Among his pupils was another great organist and composer, Leon Boëllmann.
Toccata is listed on Ten pieces for Organ(Dix Pièces pour orgue 1890).
It's a piece I've been wanting to play for a long time.
Last year, after meeting virtual organ Nancy,I thought of this music.
“That’s it!” I really fell in love with the feast of organ sounds and practiced while having fun.
It's an addictive piece that I want to play over and over again~.
Also, be careful as it can be addictive to listen to. 😉

Perfect tempo for the amount of reverb that you are using with this hauptwerk set! Too many organists go way too fast on this when there’s a decent amount of reverb, and it just gets muddled. I’ve been looking at getting this organ for a while now, and it’s now next on my list. Great sound production, and fantastic performance…I also like the cathedral pictures you put up to add to the ambiance. Bravo!

Not to fast at all, you're talking absolutely total and utter bollocks.
Great playing, like the way you got on with the registration. Too many start too softly and take almost the whole piece to build up. Well done. 👍🇬🇧
