Hearing after hearing, I'm still wondering how Jonathan Scott could give to each piece this incredible personnally and so smart touch! HURRAH for him!!
I have listened to this performance many times. It is captivating. I disagree with those who feel that the tempo is too fast - this performance seems to have just the right speed and intonation. Along with terrific technique, the bold energy and accents in the last half give it the feel of what might be called 'classical headbanger music.' Two thumbs up!

Honestly this organ is trash for this piece but he makes it work splendidly

zu schnell und seelenlos gespielt. Nur weil moderne Instrumente mit elektronischen Manualen dieses Tempo zulassen, muß das ja nicht in einen Wettbewerb ausarten.
