    That would be the Schoenstein in the Conference Centre. Easy way to tell them apart (especially when Rick is at the console)- Tabernacle (the A/S) has a vented music holder... Conference Centre has a solid wood music holder. Sometimes, with the lighting, they look the same.

    I'm a big fan of the choir and a big fan of the tabernacle organist. So to answer your question, since I know the choir since I was a kid they have never recorded a cd in their summer performances. But in their broadcast they have broadcasted the places that they have been. I've seen them do it. If they did it before, then I'm sure that they'll do it again. I'm not sure. All they do for recordings is that they either record it in the Salt Lake City, Utah tabernacle or the conference center. I'm Sorry.

    The Conference Center organ had some real challenges in terms of being able to fill a huge, non-resonant space which is aimed primarily at speech, not music. Some of the bass pipes are actually constructed like a fog horn in order to get enough volume. (The technical term for that type of pipe is a Diaphone.)

  • @derekstallwood1871

    @derekstallwood1871

    Hi. Jip kinda like opposites. If the left hand plays left to right the right hand plays right to left, or if a cord or string is played in a low key, the same chord or string could be copied in a high key. The same chord or string may be echoed a bar or less (a short time) after the first set in a complimentary reverse order of notes. Been many many years since I played and read music and I am ashamed to say I have all but forgotten the terminology and meanings of much.

    Nyck461 Sorry to bring up an old comment, but if I understand what you are asking about, it could be referred to as sequencing. (If I remember correctly.) A rough definition would be something like, "Repeating a set of notes beginning on a different scale degree or octave." Does that answer your question?
