Again with this dumbass drivel. He didn't "invent" anything, at most he predicted something which is waaay different from creating a technology that complex, and even then you use Virtual reality with a heavy device within the four walls of a house to immerse yourself in a story or to similar a real life activity. If you don't see how completely different that is from putting on a couple of glasses the size of Ray-Ban while you're driving to see inexistent graffiti on a wall you shouldn't vote on anything ever

I love that the "owl" they use is actually Karl's animal-invention version: the owl-faced, slug-juiced, lettuce-eating thing that hangs about on the walls of people's houses with its peacock feathers on display.

We blend everything into smoothies, and he predicted the v.r. glasses, good job

It feels like when Karl does the bits where Ricky is pretending to be a character he forgets that he is in fact just talking to Ricky Gervais and not a fictious creation because he asked as if Ricky would know what actually happens and would go into greater detail

This show has brought me years of laughter and helped me through anxiety, even relief from a bad breakup. The animation and their banter is just perfection.

Scrimpton is an awful word. That is Karl's point. He was right about this, the space of nice sounding, available words has contracted. Karl definitely read about this. The good example is drug names, where pharma companies pay people lots of money just to come up with drug names.

AR glasses exist, but people don't spend all their time in them. Many of Karl's ideas are stuff he read about I think.

To be fair, emojis and like buttons are much like Karl’s prediction of “new letters” in that they are another way of symbolically communicating.
