    Occasionally doing videos on the history of European languages might be really awesome. For instance romance languages (Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese) or Nordic languages (Danish, Norwegian, Swedish) and how they may, or may not, be related and so on. Thanks Leila & Sabrah 👍

    It’s been 84 years ( meme ) but I can’t describe how happy I’m seeing this ❤. My Sunday is already nice as I get to see that golden lady ❤ . I kinda like the merge between Werner media and Discovery . Discovery is well known for good management something that Warner have been lacking for awhile . Restructuring need to be made there. A lot of American companies forme joint ventures with Mexican brand to manufacture some products here from beverages to cars . Glad to see you back my queen. Greetings and hugs ❤to you.

    Re-attempt. I'm so sorry my Sabe, there was a problem on the video itself. My comment disappeared, maybe too long or censored which wouldn't be surprising! ;-) So I write it again here. I saw you had answered when that occured and unfortunately I could'nt read it so please write it again! 🙏🙏 Hi my lovely! Finding you again is a nameless pleasure. It's been so long. 😊👍 The lesson was intriguing and engrossing even if probably not my fave theme; but I guess it will be useful for students, especially those studying in buisness and domains related to economy. All these magical, humming but hollow, artificial, deceptive terms invented by liberalism and today this neo-liberalism, this free market and free trade economy and its procession of absurdities, nonsense in many respects in this frantic race for Europeanism and harmful and deadly economic globalism. A neo-liberalism whose master words are profits, shareholdings, dividends of a caste of oligarchs ever richer and powerful to the detriment of the peoples and workers enslaved and who suffer more and more. Their sole plan and strategy: advertising again and again to go on selling dreams, illusions, superfluities, gadgets, sold as indispensable to any citizen worthy of the name to remain at the 'tip' of ... this illusion; citizen turned sheep, alienated, who must be made addicted by locking them in this yoke of consumption, of overconsumption. A good citizen is first and foremost ... a good consumer! In the meantime, the planet and our roommates are dying and we are under the threat of a crisis of Life and a direct existential crisis! Among these terms very interesting indeed and very symptomatic of this hypocrisy: -Innovation that replaced Progress: the big word, one of the most quoted by politi'chiens' during the last 2 decades, let's say, and it is not a coincidence at all. It has supplanted the term "progress" which has almost disappeared from economics literature and discourses; this is obviously not a coincidence and you can listen to the fascinating Etienne Klein on the subject. He is not an economist but a scientist. His analysis is very relevant. Talent management = selection of elites, of killers. Restructuring = minimum staffing for maximum profitability = relocations, licensing/dismissal Outsourcing: rhyming more and more with social dumping Customer retention = make you slave and addicted I'll stop here because each of these often relatively new terms could be critically analyzed for their 'success' and iteration ... Especially in buisness schools ... That is only my opinion about it and my view on all that 'jargon'. May it awaken consciences in the more than imperious (and if not too late which I fear) necessity of an ontological change of paradigm included into our future 'economists' and 'engineers' minds as the brilliant Aurelien Barrau works to do so in his extraordinary conferences in the 'grandes écoles'... A mine of deep and quintessential reflections ! Obviously I go beyond the scope of the lesson which is still brilliant, Sabrah; I just hope you haven't recycled yourself in the business area ;-) and that you remain above all with your qualities of brilliant teacher, your soul of poet and artist turned to the arts. For my part I would like lessons focused on the arts, literature, poetry, history, Nature (!), ecology/environment, practical educational outings to illustrate and illuminate your personal daily life or that of the people around you, music and rock and I will think about more specific proposals. Thank you so much Sabrah, you are soul-stirring and overwhelming by beauty, I can't wait to meet you again for other wonderful lessons during the year. I love you. Bisous 🥰😘🌹❤💕💕 P.S.: the pb occured as I was modifying my comment. I could only read a part of your answer where you seemingly found my proposed themes interesting but couldn't read the whole of it so please my Sabe, re-write it. Even if it is only a few words, You know that I would die for even.. a single of them! ... ;-) :-) 🌹

    Hi Freddie! I don't want to answer for Sabrah but it seems to me that you always ask the same question. Sabe already answered you about it. Leila is fine and she probably works on future lessons according to her timetable and concern as a mum and most probably other things too. We all have our own pampers and scrunchies and, for you, that is Leila which is great and nice. she must be pretty honoured by your preoccupation and solicitudes. I'm pretty sure she'll be back, don't worry too much! ;-) For the moment, try to focus on what is proposed and maybe have a nice word, a compliment, a remark, a question about Sabrah's lesson perhaps. You know, it's always rewardfull for the person investing their time and energy to bring us knowledge ... especially in 'free share'. Think about it. I greet you my friend! And also hope we will soon have the great pleasure to have Leila back again :-) Best wishes.

Enjoy every piece of it. P.S. Thanks for the link. Classy! P.P.S. The world's piece is up to date like never. It's heartbreaking to realize that people suffer a great deal of harrowing pain and losses. "Imagine all the people living life in peace". John reacted against authorities and got carried away telling us the most crucial things. He had the gift of the gab. ~~~~ Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball ~~~~ For the parade, Venice dresses Of flakes, spangles all star-studded; She scintillates, swarms and babbles For the colourful carnival. Harlequin, negro by his mask, A snake by its thousand colors, Trashes by a whimsical note Pentalon for his Colombine Fluttering the wing with his sleeve Like a penguin upon a reef, Pierrot passes his white collar By a whole note and winks his eye. Capitan boasts, rambles and rasps With the bass to the dragging sounds; Polichinella gets annoyed Finds a hooked eighth note for a nose, Kicks Brighella who blows his nose With a trill rather outrageous, And to Colombine Scaramouche Returns his hand fan or his glove. On a cadenza is gliding A domino letting you see A cunning look behind the scenes With the eyelids of black satin. Ah! delicate beard of fine lace, That makes fly a virginal breath, This arpeggio told me: That's her! I'm sure in spite of your networks, And I recognized, pink and bright, Below the troubling eerie mask, Her lip with the fine down of peach, The adored dimples on her cheeks And the beauty spot on her chin! ~~~~~~ Serendipity ~~~~~~ I know The hand shakes on the keyboard The poem is still in pieces We already know the beginning or the end One feels a vague music: it is a question of "discovering, by chance and sagacity, things which one did not seek"! One opens oneself inside to images, sensations, emotions It is like "looking for a needle in a haystack ... and finding the farmer's daughter!" Only the freedom to search gives this vertigo And one finds what one does not seek It is so in science penicillin, X-rays, Post-it, Viagra, Velcro, microwaves, insulin or Teflon: all found by chance, by accident by open and prepared minds! It is so in the arts And in poetry Play and you will find ... Sometimes we talk about inspiration Then you have to sweat it out Work on every word, every expression, every movement of the text. But you are free Your chest is filled with hope The life rises in you in a powerful and happy wave The poem has come! F. 01 28 23. 🌹💕 I suggest 'serendipity' and 'serendipitous' as a subject for a 'short' maybe So beautiful words! Hope you like the poem :-) Bisous.

    ~~~~~~ Gilets jaunes ~~~~~~ The sky repeated its chromatic scales in generous magma shifts it leaned with tenderness on the clamour of Paris which displayed its revolt The cars were ablaze like buttercups in the black grass of the alleys The clamours floated in bouquets of despair carried by the heart of the beggars by the beggars the despised the unsold by the refractory the illiterate the lazy the cynical ... the enslaved the forgotten worn by the crowd in a waistcoat of light like a happiness in the buttonhole The king hid in his sweet gilding The king repeated his divine comedy in front of his phantom vassals The king hung a smile of compassion in the thickness of the make-up of a powdered puppet too pale to be happy The foutriquet poorly hid his nakedness under his garments of masked smugness and his threats full of murderous tumours Outside they played at hunting with hounds The pack of black wolves spat out its gas venom and its bullets that set the bodies on fire eyes gouged out, hands torn off in the pain of the end of the world The picture was one of sinister beauty ten dead three thousand wounded three thousand embassied one hundred and fifty humiliated children But everywhere in France crocuses of hope had grown under the drunkenness of the huts The beggars wore yellow high they flowered the roundabouts like the first daffodils they talked until they couldn't sleep they had respect in their eyes they drew the future on the white paper of solidarity erasing the ill-gotten wrinkles in the cracks of poverty. The beggars had life on their lips rebirth like a jewel in the luxury of heartfelt words. F. 01 31 23. 🌹💕
