Joe's dad, Jack Buck, was great back in a day when you had to have a "voice'. Not a Beth Mowen voice, or the upcoming Tom Brady voice, but one that commanded the attention of the audience. He was superb in his delivery and relaxed way in calling the game.

Shame Joe Buck works with Aikman. Troy talks and talks and talks, he is still talking when the next play is underway. A play by play and analyst should split 55-45 or maybe 60-40…this team is 75-25 on a good day for Buck…too bad, Aikman knows his business, but uses 100 words instead of 20.

Joe got some work done on his cheeks. Got some of that excess fat we all have that makes us look human removed. That's why he said he looks like he's dying. Take this as a lesson kids. No need to rush yourself to the grave.

I really like Joe, but since moving to ESPN, he's become the forgotten man, the Rodney Dangerfield of top play by play announcers. He can't save MLB on the mothership, but why the hell isn't he calling games? How old is Joe in dog years anyway? Kids after fiddy is tough.

I dunno why he makes my skin crawl - if he ever was on trial, i'd jump to guilty.
