    I feel pretty lucky to have grown up in an era where so many athletes are good people and are willing to share and give back to their respective sports.     Harbaugh balled in 95 and should’ve been playing the Cowboys in the Super Bowl. Refs blew a TD in the AFC championship game against the Steelers. Kordell Stewart stepped out of bounds and then came back in catching a TD that should’ve never happened.

    @@nachobroryan8824 Mel was trying to say you have to swing. Harbaugh was fucking awful. You have to swing on these QBs regardless, nothing to really do on Trent Dilfer exactly. Any other high QB prospect in any other year he would have said the same thing for the colts. Turns out he was right and ahead of his time. QBs weren't taken like they are now.

    At 5:30 seeing the Colts GM go off on Mel Kiper is funny. In 1994 the Colts were a stellar 4-12. In 1995, having not chosen a QB as Mel stated, they were 5-11. Their first-round draft pick was good but not really what they needed, Mel was proven right. The Colts GM did not last much longer after that happened; Mel stayed put on ESPN.

    I mean, Tobin was right in a way - Kiper is always ready to sharpshoot a selection, but he's made some terrible assessments over the years. He thought they missed out on a future Hall of Famer in Dilfer, who had a very average career.

    Mel Kiper ended up being wrong. Jim Harbaugh wasn't great, but He and Dilfer were about equally mediocre from 1994-1997 except if they had Dilfer the Colts probably don't pick Manning in 98.
