Last season, as a Steelers fan, was the first one I truly started to think maybe it was for both the Steelers and Tomlin to have a change of scenery if some drastic changes were not made. The drama in the wide receiver squad needed to be addressed. I think the off season moves were pretty drastic, especially kicking Kenny to the curb when he went drama queen after Russ Wilson signing. Maybe Russ doesn't pan out, but Kenny was definitely peaking with the Steelers already. I was deeply disappointed with the team at the end of last year, glad to see Mason Rudolph move on and wish him luck. He was from my view a pretty stand up guy and didn't seem to be a source of drama with team. Looking forward to this season, more than any in the last 5-6 years.

The game is too unpredictable to be sure what will happen. Gerry thought the Steelers were committed to Kenny three (3) months ago. Now Kenny is a bonafide bench warmer. So, I respect Gerry's opinions, but they are his opinions. If the Steelers are smart...there will be several PACKAGES for Justin Fields at the QB position. The team didn't pay a lot for either player, so there is no financial commitment to NOT play both guys. Secondly, Tomlin has NEVER had two #1 QB's (Other than Mason & Ben, but the Coach didn't have that view of Mason at the time). So, now would be the time to explore. You have to be certain of what Justin can do in this system - in a real game setting if you think you might keep Justin if Russell leaves. Is there a scenario where the Steelers keep both players if they make a deep playoff run or win the Super Bowl?

But Russ is going to put all of this to bed by making the Gtibcis look stupid! And anyone dumb enough to believe Russ couldn’t digest Oayron’s offense shouldn’t even watch football. Russ Schottenheimer (who coached Andrew Luck) ran a very complex offense and Russ ran it to perfection! Jameis Winston, Taysom Hill, and Teddy Bridgewater have a combined IQ of about 75. He also doesn't even have the same running style. He's never run in a zone blocking scheme and that's what the Steelers are employing this year. It's why they decided to wait to see what he looks like in Arthur Smith's offense before committing long term. The fact that Jerry doesn't put these two variables together is why no one trusts his reporting/evaluating

As a Steeler fan living in Denver, Wilson is washed up.

Pittsburgh Steeler fans will see through the "plastic" and egocentric persona (the whole circus) soon enough. Wilson will not adapt to a scheme, the scheme has to adapt to him. Thanks, appreciated (from another suffering Broncs fan).

This guy has no credibility. He is the one who said the Steelers were not going after QB free agents. So much for an "insider".

Gerry sounds like he’s fun at party’s. Yeah let’s just sit fields on side lines and not use him. Not like coach’s job is on the line or anything. Adapt or die.

Well, you do realize that they don’t have to take Russell Wilson out of the game to utilize Justin Fields, and a special package. I heard from multiple Steelers players that Arthur Smith is planning on using Justin Fields in a special package near the red zone.

He fumbles way to much, why would you take it from harris. Who never fumbles and give it to a fumbler in fields? Makes no sense.

That was when he was with the Bears. He’s with a different team now and the season hasn’t started yet so you can’t say based off of what he did it’s about what he’s going to do.

L O L I just made it to the point where Rich Eisen said the same thing I said. Whoever this reporter is for the Steelers I really don’t like him because he act like he knows Mike Tomlin just because Mike Tomlin didn’t do all those gadget plays in the past Mean he won’t do it this year, especially considering the dynamic duo that we have at quarterback he hast to take into count that we’ve never had any type of quarterback duo like this ever been rough burger was the only really good quarterback on our team that year, and the only other quarterback that was mobile that we had was Michael Vick, but that was when he was out of his prime and he didn’t do anything with the Steelers, but this is the first time where we have two dynamic quarterbacks like Russell Wilson, and Justin Fields I guarantee you they’re both going to be on the field at the same time and gadget plays Mike Tomlin is also a very flexible person and Arthur Smith is office coordinator who will do gadget plays And utilize all the weapons that we have
