Finally someone who agrees with me on maNga! My runaway favourite Eurovision entry since 2006 when I started watching, & the only Eurovision artist I've seen who was good enough to make me want to hear the rest of their music - I still listen to maNga regularly

Alyosha from Ukraine had by far the greatest vocal that year but her song was not everyone's cup of tea. Anyway, she should have been in the Top 5, if not Top 3. Turkey was fantastic in 2010

Coming from a German: I really wanted Turkey to win.... I accidently slept the half contest of 2009, so 2010 was the first year I really watched Eurovision. And of Course I was totally happy, that we won... But I also was somehow sad for Turkey. They were SO good. :/

I'm also German and I 10000% agree. Satellite isn't a bad song but it's just not a winner in my opinion. We Could Be The Same is my favorite Eurovision song of all time and I get goosebumps everytime I watch the live version

After watching this, I realised how much the music industry changed so much... so fast

Appreciate your channel a lot. Thank you very. :) What a year! A year we had an epic sax guy, a year with guilty pleasure from Poland and a year Sweden hit the rock bottom (sorry if offensive). And you and I agree on 2 things - Turkey was the best and Germany wasn't our winner. I gave my top spot to Turkey, #2 for Greece, #3 for Romania, #4 for Poland and #5 for Israel.

It's not the language, it's the childish presentation, superficial lyrics, and overall flat package. I am sure that there are some good songs in Dutch.

I love that you put Poland up there, it's such a beautiful song with an extremely risky staging (it's my 10th, I'm messed up lol). I have to disagree on Belarus, Finland & Armenia though, they're all wonderfully performed imo. Agree with Cyprus & Estonia too, both underrated. My Top 10 of ESC 2010: 10. Poland 9. Belgium 8. 39 - My guilty pleasure; I love it for some reason :) 38 - It deserved a bit better than what it got. Last in the semi-final was harsh. 37 - Too many noises for me to like it. 36 - Yep, us British people send the WORST entries. The backing singers and Josh did not work together 35 - Bored me. A lot. And I was angry when they got twelve points and ovetook us. 34 - I feel like the only one who loves this. Deserved top 5 in my opinion. 33 - It's mediocre; catchy but the verses are hard to remember. 32 It's OK, but compard toother Portugese entries, it's probably fantastic! 31 - So calm and peaceful - A great ballet in my opinion. 30 - OK, this song is creepy. I think it deserved the place it got. 29 - My second guilty pleaseure :) So entertaining and catchy! 28 - I like this, but not enough. Deserved to qualify though. 27 - I think this is a really good Swedish entry, lol. I hate Loreen and Robin and I loved this. 26 - I loved this, so good and original! 25 - Agree with your position, it was over-rated. 24 - Catchy, traditional but up-tempo, interesting. I like it. 23 - Albania did a good thing by sending Juliana. Loved that insane violin playing! 22 - Croatia was so under-rated that year, I constantly hum this! 21 - Under-rated in the contest, over-rated by most people but I agree with your position. 20 - Deserved the place it got, a weird ditty that I sorta liked. 19 - Deserved to score a little less, it just leaves me cold and confused. 18 - So weird but I like it. Might rank it higher. 17 - Epic Sax Guy is over-rated, period. 16 - I loved Iceland, I wanted them to get Top 5 but, alas, it didn't have that certain, 'I don't know what' for some. 15 - Bit over-rated in the contst, she just began screaming later on. 14 - Deserved the place it got, catchy and unusual. 13 - At first I found this very boring, but the lyrics really pull a chord... 12 - Oh France, what a great summer song. Bit over-rated though in the actual contest. 11 - This was a worthy winner, mysterious and catchy and just plain cool. 10 - Best Azeri entry in my opinion. Deserved what it got. 9 - This song just creeps me out and I don't like it. Was better with Jimmy Jump. 8 - I loved this song and was so dissapointed it didn't do better. Deserved top 5 in my opinion. 7 - This was astonishing. Deserved the place it got and really made me think. 6 - I am SO glad I'm not the only one in love with this song, it's so amazing even though I wasn't sure if he was singing in English until half-way through. 5 - My winner, my love. I loved Romania that year, sadly Lena and ManGa got in the way of Bucharest 2011... 4. - Over-rated. It's catchy but just not my taste. 3. - Deserved to switch places with Cyprus in my opinion. 2. Over-rated. It was good, but not enough for me to call it great. 1. - Deserved top 10, but not 2nd. Something different though and certainly not bad!. My top 5: 1. Romania 2. Iceland 3. Cyprus 4. Finland 5. Estonia Weird top, huh?

+Suspicious Windmills this was a very interesting read for sure! You have quite the different opinions on songs than the general Eurovision fanbase, which is just great! I'm so glad to see someone else see the insanely underrated Estonian song being so good, same with admitting the Danish entry maybe wasn't ideal to do so well etc. Thanks for your comment! I'm never gonna get the hate for 39th, it's so catchy to me :( :D I remember hating 19th, but I really like it now, and he seems extremely nervous to me. I think you should've put Moldova on a higher place, though! 10- I agree with your comment, I remember really loving it in 2010, it seems worse than I though then, but it's still amazing to me. 9- I love this one, I can't stop listening to it! It's powerful, I love what he gives to the song, what he creates. The emotion, the uplifting atmosphere... And his vocals are amazing, in my opinion. I also love the language. But, 10:15 , oh well. I love the live performance, but studio version is even better! 8- I have a love-hate relationship with this song. 7- Agree with everything that you've said, nothing else to add here. It was my favorite in 2010. Now I'm not sure which one I'd put in the 1st place, though. 6- Again, I have a love-hate relationship with this song, too. But more love than hate, I think. And I just love your comment about this one! 5- Oh, I forgot about this one! It's amazing too! Well, the title of the song means "Words" in Hebrew so that was funny... (Btw, The song is about his partner that broke up with him and all that he left for him was words)

Well, sorry to be a bit of a shallow girl but there's one thing that worked in the UK entry: The guy was totally cute! Ok I was really agreeing with you until you got to Albania! I love that song. I really like B&H, thanks for the comments regarding it - most people really find it extremely dull. Oh. No. I do not agree with you on Russia. That song puts me to sleep. Interesting viewpoint on Poland btw. Moldova 17th? Really? Based off your comments, it seems like it should be higher... (This is my number 1.) Your description of Milan (Serbia) is really funny! I disagree so much about Spain. I really don't like that performance. Belgium's just not for me. His voice isn't my cup of tea and the song is really boring. Otherwise, the rest of your top 10 is pretty decent.

Russia’s entry is sung poorly on purpose. It’s meant to be a joke, hence the ‘photo’ being a sketch and Peter pronouncing some things weird.

I LOVE LATVIENNE SONG

I gave this a like just because of the comments on Denmark - their entry the next year would be great but this one that song is soooo dull and it always bothered me it got such a high position. With on Georgia too - never liked that song but the singer is terrific. Yup with you on Serbia including about the outfit since I found this wonderful joyous gem because he was a very deserving Barbara Dex award winner. It might be worth you doing a reaction to the winners of that award - some great performances but mostly awful outfits. I get your opinion on France but if someone told me I had three minutes to live and could listen to one ESC song I'd crank up this one and sing and dance like an idiot - en plein avec joy d'vivre! Lena should have won the next year instead it's a fun song but not a winner and Taken By A Stranger is a much better song. Sorry I find Drip Drop really dull.

GERMANY WINNER!

A pretty good year. Here's what I like and dislike for this year: I dislike: Belarus, Cyprus, Denmark, Latvia, Macedonia, Malta, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Ukraine and United Kingdom. Meaning that I like: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Lithuania, Moldova, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey. I like 26 out of 39 songs. Overall this year was good. A lot of songs are memorable and catchy. The number of songs that I like could've been higher but things in the performances put me off. I'm terrified of clowns so Spain is my least favourite entry ever. Belarus, Denmark, Latvia and Norway would've been in my other list had their performances been good. But overall, a pretty good year.

Here are my opinions :) 39:At least she sings in her mother tounge.. Thas ts all I can award her :D 38:Really nice song, truly mediocre voice... 37:I liiike it.. Its different and funny 36:Yeah..... Uk as usual... 35:The song is so good! But they should have thrown 2 of the 5 singers out of the window.... 34:This is a good song! Catchy and interesting... 33:Genric and so forgetable 32:Yeah its easy too forget but for Portugal this is good! 31:I like it. Nice ballad and a good voice 30:Norway once again sends a beautiful balad.. I like his voice! 29:This is so darn entertaining it makes my Top 10 28:No. Just no. The staging is laughibly bad and the song is just bad 27:Well if it wheren't for a special yooooouuuu this would go down as the worst swedish entry.. 26:Average to me... The song is powerfull but for me something is missing.. Like a staging e.g. 6:Don't know... Estonia had some great songs over the years but this one.. Its misterious yeat quite catchy 5:My 1th! I just love their chemistry on stage, their voices are both magnificent and the song is really memorable! 4:My 2th. I just can't sit still while hearing this song. Even at this very moment I´m moving around on my chair. It's just that catchy! 3:Very sweet with a really memorable voice! Love this one. 2:Hm.. Its a good ballad I just sadly have heard better. 1:Let the hate begin! I think this is an average rock song. Nothing really special, it hust really stood out in a year like this. It does not deserve the hype.

First of we can all agree that Turkey was beyond extraordinary in 2010, and should have won. In all of Eurovision, only Nocturne - Norway (1995) beats it through sheer power of magic and feels. I do think Israel is candidate for top 10 even though I wouldn't place them there. I don't think Estonia and Cyprus is much more than top 20 candidates. Germany and Azerbaijan should be higher. Iceland and Armenia are both far too low, they should be top 5. Albania is probably a bit low. Otherwise I generally don't have any comments on ranking. Nice year.
