These guys are pretty much the same age. In 2009, while Erik was winning Swedish Idol, Tommy was winning Karaoke champion. Erik was lead singer for HEAT and then Skid Row hired him off his YT channel video of 18 and Life to be their lead singer, while he was finishing up cancer treatments. He found the touring with Skid Row too difficult to maintain his health so recently stepped down from Skid Row and will be doing more on his channel.

Also see Tommy in Majestica, specially the christmas carol suite. Yes, its Charles Dickens Christmas carol. About this song. All kings in Europe at this time thought they where but on earth to rule by God. Therefore did they only answer to God.

I have heard a bunch of people saying that Tommy should have been lead singer in Sabaton. I disagree, and the reason why is perfectly illustrated in the contrast between this cover and the original. In this version i hear two great artists singing and i'm happy to listen. Sounds great and i love it! In Sabatons version i hear a king, telling me in no uncertain terms that i BETTER d#&n well listen or my severed head will end up in a wicker basket. 😄

Erik is the best kept secret on KZread. His covers of Journey, Mariah Carey, Pantera and Black Sabbath are insane. His cover of Whitney Houston's "I will always love you" had almost half a million hits in little over a week.
