This was beyond amazing! Tommy and Erik did an incredible job in this one and their voices really blend so well. There will be another cover in a few weeks on Tommy's channel with 2 of them and I'm really looking forward to it

Tommy and Erik are 2 of my 3 favourites. I think this performance is amazing. I know Erik has fought the good fight and I am thrilled he and Tommy got together. I really want more! It's a cover out of this planet. These guys made a worldclass cover of an outstanding song. And yes, after hearing both versions more than 5 times I prefer the coversong. But I know that this cover would not exist without the original, which is in the top five of my personal sabaton list. So I have to say thank you to both:

I think this is the fourth version of Carolus Rex I hear. Sabaton's version and Minniva's version you know and have reacted to. Then there is also the version by Follow the Cipher which is also considered on original version due to one of the ex Sabaton members who co-wrote this song plays/played with Follow the Cipher.

Having Great vocalists can really make or break songs. I'm not a big fan of Sabatons music generally, but i like both Tommy Johansson's and Erik's Grönwall's vocals separately, but together they sound absolutely amazing!

12 in roman numbes is XII So our warking in Sweden was Carl XII and in english Carl the XII. I did read alittle trough the comments, but I didn't see anywhere that Tommy Johansson has been the leadguitarist and a backsinger in Sabaton for 7 years, but luft Sabaton some weeks ago. Tommy johansson has a video here on KZread telling the reason why he left. They did split as friends, so no hard feelings was what Sabatons leadsinger said in another video.

Hi, I've been waiting a long time for them to do things together. I like them very much. Hoping for something fuller next time. Would be fun if they could do Headless cross together. Eric has now left Skid Row to devote more time in getting healthier. he proimsed himself when he went through his bone marrow transplant, that nothing would come before his health. Tommy has left Sabaton also. Best of luck to both of them!

Jag lyssnar normalt på den svenska med Sabaton så sällan hört den engelska. Tommy och Eriks röster passar väl ihop när de blandades och Erik har en stark röst utan tvivel men det är Tommys röst som ger mig känslan. Det är väl så med röster man föredrar en över en annan och det blev så tydligt när de växlade mellan dem. Men som helhet är det en bra cover, och musiken är tung och suggestiv med det där dundun-du-dundun-du som driver på hela vägen. Kommer definitivt lyssna fler gånger men den svenska med Sabaton slår högre.
