Tommy J, Sabaton and Erik Grönwall! Almost too good to be true.

Erik is the lead vocalist for Skid Row now. He also does cover songs and posted them on his channel. Need to check out his cover of Bon Jovi song ( Always ) and Black Sabbath song ( Headless Cross ) and other songs.

These two guys just awakened the dead spirits of metal from the 80s and 90s. These two singers are freakin awesome as hell.

Erik won the Swedish Idol back in 2009. After that he got the job as lead singer for H.E.A.T where he were until 2020. From 2022 he is lead singer for Skid Row :)

Erik used to sing with a band called H.E.A.T., and he and Dan Vasc covered a H.E.A.T. song called Breaking The Silence. I'm 100% here for more Erik, and especially when he's with Dan.

I really love Erik's cover of Highway Star and Painkiller 💥 Erik and Tommy did Carolus Rex amazing 🤩 No trouble for Tommy I guess, he must have played that song a few times 😅💥🤘❤

This is a real Swedish powehouse!!!🤘🇸🇪 And I'm soo proud!! Of course nothing beats the original in this case, but this is the best cover of it!! These two guys singing together is for me a dream come true. I highly recommend you to check out more from Erik's channel. He is on tour in Canada with Skid Row right now, but he releases awesome covers on his YT channel as well. His background story of how he ended up as lead singer in one of his favourite bands is a chapter on its own.

Both of them did a fantastic job! I'm usually very critical to Sabaton covers because Joakim has such a specific voice, but this was incredible 🔥🤘

Hi Daniel, This is heaven for me. Two of the absolut best singers in Sweden right now, collaborating. This was announced by Erik a few weeks ago where he told us that he would launch the first collab, and Tommy will release the second collab on his channel within a few weeks. Can't wait. Erik is a very wonderful person who has overcome leukemia since about 2 years ago. If you check his covers from 2 years back, he was wearing a hat as the treatment made him loose all hair.

Erik is an amazing singer. Here in Sweden he was well nown for participating in Idol and hes covers of Skidrow songs when the news came that he got enlisted as Skidrows new singer.

Erik does two epic rock versions of Without You and I Will Always Love You. Definitely worth checking out. I also se on his take on Painkiller. Epic.

Took you long enough to discover Erik! His cover of 18 and Life on his YT channel won him the job of lead singer for Skid Row. He's another rabbit hole for you to dive into. His backstory is really quite incredible. Been waiting for this....cheers!

You need to look up two Helloween covers these two do separately that blow it out the parrk too. Tommy's version of Future World which he features another singer, unbelievable cover and Erik's cover of Eagle Fly Free with Helloween's Kai Hansen making a guest appearance in the guitar solo, they will blow your mind. Sad Tommy no longer with Sabton and Erik has left Skidrow.

Carolux Rex is an epic, powerful & glorious Sabaton song. As a wanna be history buff, I admit, Sabaton has taught me a lot. I wasn't thrilled to see Tommy leave, but I think both Sabaton & Tommy will survive. Tommy definitely has some pipes, he can sing the phone book. I'm now liking Erik Gronwall. Those 2 together did justice to Carolus Rex.

He had a very bad and tough time and struggling to survive.💔😭 He’s son was only three years then…😢, so Erik fight for him son and family. His wife was with him almost all of the time, because it was covid and he couldn’t get family or friends on visit. After only a half year later he joined Skid Row. His dream came true then. You have more to read and/or hear about him and his journey. There’s lots more. I recommend you to listen to his channel and pick songs from his amazing cover-list. But he was also front singer in Sweden H.E.A.T after he won Swedish Idol❣️🎶🏆🎶 So there’s so much more you need to listen to. And thank you for this and also listen to our amazing Tommy Johansson!🤘🏼❤️‍🔥🎶❤️‍🔥🎶 Thanks from me and Sweden🇸🇪

This might be one of very few covers from Tommy that’s not better than the original. Still, it’s a damn good cover!
