Seems like a really narrow-minded view to think the only things worth stealing are massive creatures. Lots of auras can enchant artifacts or planeswalkers, and if you steal a Voja player’s mana dorks it can really slow them down

Lots of good value creatures are 4 cmc or less, Krenko, Esper Sentinel, Bloomtender, etc

lol there are a ton of cheap white and black auras that can be used to steal things while keeping blue to protect eriette, unless someone is running a ton of enchantment removal you can take a ton of super valuable creatures/artifacts that are 4 or less cmc from your opponents. she may not be high power but it’s a creative build that isn’t seen in many other places.

I get what he's saying, but i really like this card as a comander. Sure there are other blue aura's that let you steal shit, but eriette lets you buff them and steal them. And with how she's worded, something like shielded by faith lets you take any creature with cmc 3 or less whenever one enters, giving you a lot of power and versatility from something that just gives indestructible. And theres nothing preventing you from taking those blue enchantments to snag the higher cmc creatures, while your other enchantments are spent on the cheaper stuff.

However you could blink the cards you take

Eriette could be a fun kingmaker commander with ways to play flash auras to benefit opponents. At face value there’s a push to play theft, however, Eriette can pressure small cmc creatures which give threatening opponents too much value.

I mean, at least in theory, it means you only gotta play half the cards and half the mana cost for cool creatures with strong enchants. Also quite a few more cost reduction type effects for enchantments than for creatures. Oh, and she is very pretty, which is a large consideration as well.

Imagine trying to steal a big creature with eldrazi conscriptions and someone kill erietta in response

Here's the thing.... eriette says nonland permanent.... so.... sol ring? Any sort of cheap mana rocks? Well, that's where eriette shines, by enchanting artifacts :-)

@@gabzsy4924 I don't have a full list, but ensoul artifact is the first that comes to mind. 1 and a blue enchantment "enchant artifact." Doesn't have "you control" which means it can target an opponents sol ring. Just gotta look for 'em.
