So sorry about your brother. I still suffer from long-term Covid. It really spun my life upside down. I forced myself to walk and still do things like some laundry and wash my bed linens. It really hurt bad inside my body outside. Tingling and pain in my whole body and feet. I still struggle but i keep going. I am off oxygen and still limited to what i can do. Your brother is in a peaceful better place beside my girl. There are Angels. One day will see them again 💕✨✌🏻

I wish Andy Bell was more renowned. Dude has one of the best voices of all time.

I'm sorry for your loss, but remember yhou got those 26 years. Everybody dies, but not everyone gets 26 yrs. It's been just over 3 yrs for me and I miss Bert just as much. He lives in the telling of stories of our life together and in my interactions with his 4 kids, 3 grandkids and 3 great grandkids and even his ex-wife. Blue Savannah now and forever.

The song sunk into my soul. In 1993-1995, I served in the Navy and on our ship, this composition was constantly played during lunch, or during cleaning on the ship. Therefore, when I listen to it, I close my eyes and again I am transported to that already distant time when I served, when I was 18.

tem um gênio por trás disto, ele mesmo o tecladista e piloto de sintetizadores Vince Clarke. A versão desta musica que tocava aqui no Brasil nos anos 90 era diferente desta, soava mais para o estilo tecno do kraftwerk.

Eu tinha meus vinte e poucos anos na década de 80, era uma quantidade enorme de excelentes bandas, tinha músicas para todos os gostos. Sinto pena da geração de hoje que não tem uma boate e discoteca( são raras) para irem, só ficam em barzinhos cada um olhando para seus celulares, não tem assunto, não tem azaração. Viva a turma que tem 50, 60, 70 anos hoje.

Infelizmente, a falta de investimentos na educaçao em geral. Levou o povo a uma situaçao de pobreza geral. Os anos 80 ainda tinhamos jovens que estudavam e faziam letras sensacionais. Hoje vivemos no deserto do lixo musical, aliado ao liberalismo geral. Sem regras nao tem ordem. E onde nao tem ordem impera a violencia em todos os sentidos.

I actually vividly recall doing just that on a road trip back in 1992. Driving from the midwest to the east coast to meet up with my husband...this tune blaring from my rental car's "not top quality" speakers, but it was a beautiful trip, nonetheless. GORGEOUS song. I was headed to the orange side...I'll hold this memory in my head and heart forever.

Absolutely love love love love love this song since the first time I heard it. Writing my first lesson plans when I was doing my TTC (teacher training course) at 1:00 2:00 AM in a cyber cafe - ahhh the days when I was just learning to use a computer - this song started playing in the background and I went into a kind of trance, trapped mysteriously by such magnificent harmony ... That combination of chords and voices has a particular effect on me I can't fully describe.

Apesar dos meus 46 anos,nunca deixo de ouvir todas estas maravilhas dos anos 80 e 90.

I keep returning to this song , it feels so good. Erasure isn't a one-hit-wonder by any measure, and yet nothing like this since.

I've raised my grandaughter called savannah for 10 yrs since she lost her mum she was 11 she's 21 in January has a good job she's a nurse looking after people she has a beautiful 2r old daughter but what I would give to have my own daughter back I lost my son Yr half after I don't live I just exist

I’m 61. So I lived. Danced. And loved when Erasure played the charts back in the fantastic 80 s. ❤️❤️❤️. What memories this track brings back. My fave of all they did.

My dad introduced me to his music when I was a baby and I’m now 11 and love his music!!

Erasure are great, and I like some of their songs.

One of the band's best works. Always loved the idea behind this video and the lovely deep shade of blue used in it along with the gold. Visually arresting stuff.

What is the idea behind the video? 🤔

I remember driving back from St. Petersburg, FL from the gay bar at the beach in my friend's convertible Miata listening to this song and thinking life will never be this good again and it wasn't 💔. But I have those memories of my home where my heart remains and that is Tampa Bay.

Depeche Mode's Violator came out less than a month later. That's hard to go up against for any band. Even one as good as Erasure.

I'm not an Erasure fan but I had a copy of the album when it came out. I haven't heard this in over 30 years, during a wild period of my life. I remembered every word, but had forgot Andy Bell could really sing. Great stuff.

This song always had a romantic yet sad feel to me. Always loved it. The blue hand in this video is kinda funny, i feel like it doesn't go with the songs vibe...then again Erasure's videos are usually very unique. 💜
