honestly I think she did have a plan it was just a very bad one. I think all she really wanted was attention, she never mentions her family, she starts acting up around the time cadance shows up, she asks to become an alicorn and dose everything to get Celestia's attention. honestly i think this was more just an act of desperation to finally be recognized because she just wanted someone to love her and her jealousy took over.

Okay, I think I finally realized the design purpose of boots watching said song again by the time they said to "stomp your hooves." The boots are ALMOST EXACTLY LIKE HOOVES on their models. Just separate a portion of a pony model's hooves and make the area below it different colors and whatnot, maybe make the hoof longer to resemble a human leg, then at the bottom, add that little curve for a heel and BAM. Instant human leg+boot design. That's...pretty genius. O_O

I never quite realized how sad the departure from the human world is. The last you see is the girls losing their magic and being sad at Twilight's departure. You don't get any kind of closure on Sunset either. There's nothing that could work as a denountment for the world outside of small worlds of wisdom from Twilight to Celestia at the end. We're lucky that the spin-off took off, because that's not a great ending for the humane five.

1) It would also explain why nobody found the portal, it being only open for 3 days every 2.5 years 2) She is in "the city" the real question is, where is the OTHER Sunset Shimmer 3)I can just imagine lyra's reaction going through the portal. 4)The hammer can destroy the portal, not by hitting the "portal" part, by hitting the rest of the statue or the frame surrounding the portal.

If there's one thing I'm hoping for in the sequel, it's Fluttershy opening her backpack with a cry of "fly my pretties, fly!"

Some people didn't like the way Celestia's voice and personality changed, just like many didn't like the way Spitfire changed in Wonderbolts Academy. But in both cases, the changes make sense for the different role being played by the character, imo.

Well, I just wanna say that I very much enjoyed watching this. Seeing all of these people react pretty much completely positively towards Equestria Girls is a really enjoyable thing. I very much liked the movie, and I am glad I saw I wasn't the only one. (Yes, I know a number of people also enjoyed the film, but it is just really special to see how a whole group reacted to it)

I love how the couple down beneath Luna just act like they don't give af about everyone else lol

I've literally "reserved" this video for Sunday just for watch it. I love seeing reactions and, a whole group of people reacting to one of my favorite movies!? heck yeah!

I freaking love Sunset Shimmer. Wow wow wow calm down, it's just that they made her so freaking likeable in Rainbow Rocks that I just can't hate her in this movie anymore. Also, this movie is pretty damn confusing. Why? There's a little thing that is bothering me: If this school is "ruled" by Principal Celestia and Principal Luna, this school is basically Canterlot. Then why is the mane six here? I understand that Cadence is in the school equivalent of the Crystal Empire, but why isn't the real Twilight here and the rest of the mane 6 in the Ponyville school? And the Cloudsdale school? This is just a little nitpick, but now that I think about it, this doesn't make any sense. Oh well, this was writen by Megan after all, she make awesome episodes/movies with confusing world building.

Well, EG's universe is the opposite of the pony one many times. In the pony, the mane 5 introduced Twilight to friendship when she moved from Canterlot to Ponyville. In EG's, Twilight reintroduced friendship to the mane 5 and she came from ponyville to Canterlot High

i wish in the movie twilight said to sunset shimmer "you know what i'm a alicorn princess and your a non-princess unicorn so bow down to ME and give my element back!" XD that wouldn't make a movie but it would make sense

Watching this again. At the scene where Sunset first appeared, I was like "wow, she technically becomes Twilight's student later! I still can't believe it!" O.O WHY IS THIS SURPRISING TO ME EVERY TIME!?

ok, 2 things, 1. Gangnam style dude in the background at 56:37 2. Hasbro actually got the idea for equestria girls from human-pony fanart on deviantart so in a way this entire movie was hasbro telling us they care and pay attention to us

I'm going to be honest I miss videos like this also I wish I had friends close by like you guys I can't remember the last time I was with my friends in a group watching certain episodes of My Little pony but I do remember they were amazing, even some KZread videos of Dr Wolf for pretty good 😊

I always assume that what jjmara said was what happened. It would still be urgent to finish her mission because every extra day spent in EG world is a day something bad could happen in pony world without Twilight being there. It would also work for Rainbow Rocks, considering the timeline.

I'll forgive you! ..even though you nearly killed everyone at school... BUT THAT'S ALL IN THE PAST!

Because I was bored I actually looked up and figured out how long 30 moons would be. If we're referring to Lunar Eclipses (since it is shown in the movie) that would average about 15 years. When they sat 30 moons they mean actual full moons that is a little more than 18 years. So yeah . . . either way that is quite a bit of time to be stuck somewhere.

I had my own ending in mind... Human discord comes from the portal and saves everyone! He makes a clever little joke then everyone thanks him and respects him more! :D

I kept on watching when Pinkie did the fast talk thing I DIED LAUGHING anyways just want to say u guys r awesome!

It’s been 11 years ago when Equestria Girls was released. It’s now 2024 and the movie came out in 2013

They also showed this movie in Spanish, because people from Puerto Rico and New York City has not seen this. They used to showed them in San Juan, PR, East Harlem in the city and South Bronx. They used to have Brony events for this movie in both English and Spanish in other locations within New York City like Brooklyn Academy of Music, colleges, ballrooms and schools where they used to attend the events.
