This episode really should have been broken up into two parts. It isn't a bad episode, it's just very jarring on how fast Twilight resolved the problem with no small trial between.

I disagree. It would have been too drawn out if they did that. Although, it could have worked. If they spent more time per Mane Six member finding themselves again. Extending the song or adding more dialogue. But I think this episode is really powerful the way it is.

It didn't have enough story to split into two episode. But too much for one episode

I paused to think about it for a moment, and I realized another reason why I appreciate this episode - the fact that being a Princess in the MLP universe is not (necessarily?) a title earned by being born into a certain family; it's a title that is EARNED for showing important characteristics such as hard work and leadership. This is also great because usually the Princess title is griped at because it typically is only associated with characteristics such as (to be continued...)

Lauren Faust did confess that Twilight's destiny was always meant to be the succession of the throne, that, and this episode was written back in Nov 2011. Trust me, they had the whole Alicorn Twilight thing planned from the start.

I just counted how long it took RD to clear the sky and she did it in 10 seconds flat

I love that everyone was so happy about Twilight becoming an alicorn. Everybody else raged when they saw it! Even before the episode!

wow, this is the first time I've seen how the fast mood changes really affected people. you guys looked so sad during Twilight's song, and completely horrified when she was blasted away. Yay, cheering for Twilicorn! Awesome reactions guy's! I think this proves that watching something with the commercials/with the original breaks really makes a difference on how you're affected. There's that 5 minute wait that builds up all the suspension and anxiety. It really makes a difference.

Did you know that before we watched this episode we had a 23 hour long party. And that through most of the night I was downstairs trying to fix the furnace because it had stopped working and it was getting cold. Trust me. We all have bad days. Just put a smile on and enjoy every little bit of life. =] ~Kesh

Hey, everyone has their triggers. For some reason I get the same way during the final showdown during Rainbow Rocks. In my case, I see it as a testament to how much I got invested in Sunset Shimmer's character arc. Maybe some similar happens for you with this?

Desirée Mena I will admit that "A True True Friend" started to get to me during the Twilight/Fluttershy duet.

I knew this was going to be a good reaction when, before the theme song is even finished, we got someone yelling "WHAT SORCERY IS THIS?!?!?!?"

It makes the days we all get together to watch the episodes that much better. It's hard when we have to miss a week and wait till next week to see the episode. Having to stay clear and/or be extremely careful for the week not to spoil anything. But in the end it makes it worth it. Seeing it all for the first time with friends is the best. Out of all of your videos, this one is still one of my favourites. Just the energy and pure excitement you guys had watching this is still fun to experience over and over.Also, very cool of you to give a shout out to Brony Barrington (I know him IRL).

You all had so many of the same reactions I did when I saw this! I thought the episode was so fastpaced but now I watch the full episode every now and again and listen to all of the songs (we were all so spoiled!)! You guys are lucky to have friends to watch this with, I'm still a closet Brony so I always have to watch it by myself! Can't wait for season 4!

This is my second favorite episode of all time. My favorite is without a doubt Twilight's Kingdom. My third favorite is Lesson Zero. So yeah, Twilight is best pony. JK, this is just my opinion. I love how positive this reaction is, many people were like "OH NO MY SHOW IS RUINED SHE IS MARE SUE (see what I did here?) CUZ SHE HAS WINGS (by that logic all pegasus are mare sues by the way)" FFS, calm your tits people!

I only think Twilight isn’t that interesting because she’s powerful and we got to know her right away instead of getting more character development that doesn’t happen with her meeting friends or advanced spell casting. But I will admit I do enjoy how she battles villains and have used that for my own OC.

I so love watching these as much as with my own friends. Thank you. Keep posting them. I agree too, we were spoiled on great songs. So many feels. Daniel Ingram has said that 4th season is going to be epic. I guess every thousand or so years life in Equestria gets real.

Everytime I watch this and Jem says "I feel like I should be crying", I just sit here and be like " I AM crying".. *Sob* *sob*..

There could never have been a more perfect moment. Just not possible.

I really loved this episode, the songs were fantastic and contrary to what most people seem to think I believe the pacing was absolutely perfect. The episode was far from perfect, of course, but I still loved it perhaps more then any other episode in the series. Thank you guys for all these awesome reaction videos, for making us smile with every new upload! I hope to see you again for season 4, and heck... Maybe you can do reactions on the new Spin-Off Equestria Girls as well when that airs? xP

I’m definitely happy it wasn’t the end because we got another 6 incredible seasons, and the finale for season 9 actually teared me up a bit

It wouldn't be and the same time every week. So we'll see how things go. But we've definitely thought about it and will talk again closer to season 4 ~Kesh
