i've been suffering from constant dizziness for 12 years! i've looked online for a cause. they only talk about "vertigo." I DON'T HAVE VERTIGO! i went to many damned doctors - NO ONE EVER MENTIONED THIS CONDITION! one doctor told me displaced bone fragments entering the ear canal could cause this. is that what "POSTERIOR canal BPPV" is? a catscan was done i revealed no bone fragments in either ear. can POSTERIOR canal BPPV be detected through a catscan? and the CONSTANT dizziness continues. the severity of the dizziness varies only in intensity but NEVER goes away except when i'm asleep. i've had several MRIs scheduled but they always fall threw mainly because i'm too dizzy to lie still long enough for the MRI. the entire medical profession has screwed me for 12 YEARS denying much needed medical care. they just don't know what the hell they're doing and they don't give a damn! I'VE SCREAMED ONLINE FOR YEARS - I NEED MEDICAL ATTENTION - AND NO ONE GIVES A DAMN!

Hello, if you are reading this comment, you’re probably going through the feelings of this. I just want you to KNOW that it’s ok! You will be okay! The feelings are just that.. feelings and sensations. They are ofc unpleasant but dwelling on them will increase the suffering. Know deep down that some way or another it will pass. Probably after doing what the video is showing. Regardless, just want you to know that you will be fine. Blessings to you ❤

@@raquelmata7698 yes feeling nauseous is normal and common. just know that the anxiety is separate from the vertigo, you can actually feel vertigo and not feel anxious, the way to do this is that you have unshaken trust and faith that you will get through this. You WILL recover but give yourself time and be patient with yourself. Try the maneuver, once for at least 2 days.

A couple of years ago I was struck with severe dizziness. Tried to wait it out to see if it would go away, never did. Made an appt with an ENT and they did a boat load of tests only to be rudely told by a nurse that there was nothing they could find and they made an appt for me with a Neurologist. In the meantime I'm freaking out thinking that I've got a brain tumor or something. My husband told me to contact a Chiropractor. She saved my life. Did the epley maneuver and I felt like a whole new person after dealing with it for months and also, my back has never felt better lol

Many people don't understand that vertigo it's one of the most horrible things to ever exist. Because the effects don't just go away when it stops, you feel like vomiting you get the cold sweats in the shakes for at least 10 to 15 minutes after. So what happens all the time you'll be feeling like that constantly and you'll never want to move at all.

I was in a helicopter crash almost 10 years ago. I took a ~58g impact to my skull and face and the right side of my body. Everything healed up and I'm mostly ok now. While I was in the hospital, I noticed that every time I looked up and right, the room would start spinning. I didn't know what the problem was but I thought it must be really severe. I was still a long way from even walking, but I thought I would never drive or mountain bike again. One of my physical therapy sessions ended with the PT doing an Epley maneuver and then me staying mostly still for the rest of the day. It fixed me and I've been fine ever since. Yeah, the Epley maneuver is good stuff. Thanks to the KZread algorithm for bringing this to my feed. Next up, EMG.

how do you know which ear? i've been suffering from constant dizziness for 12 years! i've looked online for a cause. they only talk about "vertigo." I DON'T HAVE VERTIGO! i went to many damned doctors - NO ONE EVER MENTIONED THIS CONDITION! one doctor told me displaced bone fragments entering the ear canal could cause this. is that what "POSTERIOR canal BPPV" is? a catscan was done i revealed no bone fragments in either ear. can POSTERIOR canal BPPV be detected through a catscan? and the CONSTANT dizziness continues. the severity of the dizziness varies only in intensity but NEVER goes away except when i'm asleep. i've had several MRIs scheduled but they always fall threw mainly because i'm too dizzy to lie still long enough for the MRI. the entire medical profession has screwed me for 12 YEARS denying much needed medical care. they just don't know what the hell they're doing and they don't give a damn! I'VE SCREAMED ONLINE FOR YEARS - I NEED MEDICAL ATTENTION - AND NO ONE GIVES A DAMN!

I had an vertigo attack last Monday again since a long time. From then on, I had the worst week ever.. I had multiple panick attacks because the dizzy feeling had me going crazy and a few times I almost called the GP (I don't know if this is the correct term as I am Dutch haha) but I was ready to get myself in a hospital bed basically because I couldn't stand the feelings I was havong.. I watched a lot of video's about BPPV and Menieres disease and came across this video. I was very very scared to do this manouver and the first few attempts I tried yesterday I gave up immediately because I couldn't stand the vertigo happening again. After reading a lot of the comments I decided to try it again this afternoon.. I did it around 3 or 4 times in a row to find the right ear. When I started on my right side, nothing would happen but when I started left, once I turned to my right side the vertigo would come again. I held it until the vertigo subsided and laid there for a minute. The last time the vertigo was very bad on that side and I felt even worse after than I did before I tried the manouver. Another few panic attacks later and being really scared I made it even worse, I tried it again just before dinner time. There was no vertigo on both sides, but ever since I did it the last time I have been feeling more myself again. I am still very woozy and floaty/dizzy, but the stuffed feeling in my left ear has disappeared, as is the tinnitus. I feel more energized and can do more around the house than just sitting on my couch and watch Netflix. So for everyone who is scared to do it, I was aswell, but it has given me a lot of confidence that if I would get vertigo again, I don't have to suffer for a long time and can "just" do the epley manouver. For everyone wondering, I did not see a doctor yet, I have an appointment this Monday, so I decided to do this alone, without supervision and my doctor showing it to me first. 🫣

Update; I am now going from feeling good to feeling horrible back and forth. I keep trying to do the epley manouver but not a lot of vertigo is happening anymore so maybe I should stop now and just let it do it's thing.. Maybe my anxiety is making it bigger than it actually is? Because I've heard that a symptom of anxiety is also dizzynes...
