In this episode of Combat Approved we will tell you for the first time about the newest armored vehicle, which is still undergoing preliminary tests in the army. This is the paratroop version of the Typhoon armored vehicle. A heavy wheeled all-terrain vehicle that can be dropped by parachute. But now at the main test center of the Armed Forces in Kubinka, near Moscow, this armored vehicle is being subjected to very different tests. It is being shot at, blown up, burned - in general, they are trying to destroy it in every possible way. Not only is this Typhoon subjected to such inhuman tests. For the first time you will see how scientists check Russian military equipment. And you will understand why no other army in the world sets such severe requirements.

Super video! Congratzzz!! Making a vehicle that tuff to keep those inside in one piece & without any explosive shock wave damage to internal organs is amazing. Troops have a hard job as it is dealing with military war fighting to peace keeping in any Country of conflict. As well as, with being tasked with rescue missions: when they may be traveling in smaller numbers without a large support force to watch thier backs. This vehicle will give extra confidence to the entire force that they can continue the mission even under severe attack. In the event of massive direct hit they may loose the vehicle in the short term, but will be able to regroup without any major injuries. Lastly, to know that the vehicle is still an asset to be retrieved and repaired back into it's original, "zero time", as good as new, in a matter of days. Great design!

hey guys love the show and the quality of the translation great work!!! but when yu said "even the disk flew off" at 32:00 im guessing you ment the break disk and that was still intact. even the caliper and pads were there. not a nit pic but a wow it is still there. great engineering!

I think that was referring to the steel wheel, which I think can be referred to as a disc in some dialects.

They appear to be talking about the rim, not the rotor (what you're calling a "break disk" which perhaps you meant "disc brake". Break means to destroy. Brake means to stop)

One typhoon for sale never really used much but might have a few light scratches but could be buffed out with a bit of T-cut or maybe some Napalm or tomato juice !!!...this is one mean machine ...it's litterly bomb proof and goes forever ...call for price !!!!

This thing has a combat module with a 30mm autocannon... Humvees better stay away from it or they get shredded to pieces. It's a light IFV with the firepower of a Bradley on tracks.
Would rather buy that typhoon armored vehicle than a lambo.
This is a really entertaining channel and Russia has, as we see, a bunch of cool prototype projects, but they're not anything for possible adversaries to worry about. Like so many designs, they cant fight in substantial numbers anywhere but ...Russia

Burning at 1800 degrees for 10 minutes or so at weak points without reducing the trucks fighting ability or affecting those inside.

Looking back now (Dec 2022) it's interesing to see the timing of this release - a few months before the 2022 attack on Ukraine - I mean special military operation. Just in time to re-assure the Russian population and probably the young conscripts that they will be going into battle in a wonderous vehicle. At least moral was OK for the first few days.

The Russians make damn fine armored vehicles. But that fire test is just so pussy to me.
Unlike allot of Russian stuff this vehicle is quite impressive! Takes a licking and keeps on ticking! The problem with allot of western equipment is reliability and useability, this is something that the Russians always get right, easy to use, and reliable.
