I love the Esther sweater! The colors are perfect. That will be so beautiful to wear. I'm off the hat knitting. I made two hats for Christmas and they both turned out huge and didn't fit anyone. So I'm currently making the Fading Point wrap by Joji Locatelli. I've finished the two halves and now have to join them and knit them together with two small side panels. I am also crocheting a Chevron afghan. Just for a change from knitting. I don't have to think about the chevron pattern at all. I got an itch and Joanne Fabric store had a huge yarn sale, so I went and bought enough yarn to make 5 or 6 afghans. They will be Christmas gifts hopefully.

Hats are so much trickier then people make them out to be. You really have to get the sizing right which means being careful with gauge. Also, so many people are particular about how they like to wear their hats. My husband likes a snug fitting hat that doesn't cover his ears and he doesn't like it when they have a brim that folds back on itself. It's so hard to knit hats for him! This is why I knit so many hats for my family. If they were close by I would knit a hat, make them wear it for a few days then get feed back on the fit and rip back the hat and make adjustments. I do this for my own hats.

Love your knit as usual. I’m doing a Tecumseh. First ever colour work. I’m onto the 3Rd feather and my fabric is improving. There’s mistakes but I’m ok with it. Bless you
