Ugh! I love japanese food! I would love to live there. Do you find it easy enough to get around? Do you speak Japanese?

In Okinawa it's very easy to get around with out any Japanese. There is such a huge English speaking community here. I speak a very very small amount. I can ask how much things are at the store and order a pizza. I think the biggest help for me was learning the Katakana and Hirigana alphabets, I can read menus and signs.
