“Includes paid promotion” is at the top of the screen. I get it. Tough to make a go of it without some sort of corporate sponsorship. Also, anyone who has played a lot of golf in their life knows that no piece of equipment is going to transform your game. The only thing people can do to meaningfully improve at golf is to play a lot of golf.

Ok Mike Abram, thank you for giving us your background. I take back my comment from earlier episode that there are no smart people out there for not showcasing Peter Kostis more because of his years of golf knowledge, opinion and instruction. I stand corrected because you obviously know more than I do and have been and are the one doing just that. So thank you for continuing to give us Peter (and Gary).

Just watched Tin Cup with my 37 year old son and he’s finally interested in trying golf this spring. I really enjoyed talking to McCord when he was on the senior tour in Kansas City. He was really great talking to me and my buddies during practice days and really had us laughing. So glad Kostis and McCord is doing great 😊

Can also confirm Gary is a good guy. We used to hang out with him when he was doing the Byron Nelson. He's the exact same guy off the screen as on.

@@TheGolfAgencyTGA So, opaque and secret? Sounds like bidness as usual, then, for the powers that be at the PGA Tour, no? Have the players been apprised of the actual sources of these secret numbers? Sounded to me like Tiger, in his recent interview, was taking that Dec. 31 deadline kinda seriously - and maybe with a veiled(?) threat that if it isn't kept, then maybe some unexpected additional fireworks might be expected. I'm getting my popcorn ready. . .

The only way the TGL idea will be entertaining is if the players' personalities are entertaining in that type of setting. That's the problem with all these made for TV golf ideas like The Match, LIV, or anything else. These guys may be funny and personable off camera, but most of them on camera are either pretty boring or at worst awkward. The entertaining thing about watching the best golfers in the world on TV is seeing them play great golf under the greatest pressure. Sure, there have been some very colorful personalities on the tour throughout the years on camera: Lee Trevino, Arnold Palmer, Payne Stewart to name a few, but those guys are few and far between. This is not a knock on the current players by the way, just stop trying to make them out to be television personalities because they aren't! I just want to watch them play great golf. If CBS and the PGA Tour weren't a bunch of idiots, they would have left the TV entertainment to Kostis, McCord, and Feherty.
