Epic Day Paddlefish Snagging on Missouri River- Catch and Cook
Paddle fishing (spoonbill) on the Missouri River (in Missouri) with a successful catch and cook. Had a blast catching a limit of spoonbill. I was using 60-100 lb braided line from amazon.com (link below).
Giant Daiwa Reel ($33 and great cheap reel big fish): amzn.to/2L28Jh9
Cheap Braided line (80-100lb test for trophy catfish): amzn.to/2xyQfTJ
Cameras used to film video:
GoPro Hero 3+ Silver Edition: amzn.to/2J0DPFo
Samsung Galaxy Note 5: amzn.to/2shxVt8
Hope you enjoyed this video, and as always, best of luck fishing!

😊awesome🎉
I caught paddlefish too at the Missouri River in Missouri too and I'm not quite sure why but they are all very skinny ☹️, best guess is the Asian carp stealing too much plankton that the paddlefish would, at least I still got alot of meat 😋

Tell us another un.
Can you explain why you're holding up 3 fish that are on the threatens species list? Seems kinda dumb to not only be targeting them but then posting it on the internet.

Probably because you can legally fish and keep them here in Missouri...obviously.

MDC was the leader in raising young so we can have them stocked and still have a season. These had a sister species in China, but they may have already gone extinct there.

Beautiful, boneless flesh. Human channeling, flooding and dams are the threat. It interferes with spawning.
Great vid. New sub here. I live in Central MO and would love to hit the Missouri River one weekend to fish.... What areas do you recommend? It would be at least a 3 hour drive for me, can you camp any any areas or is there lodging nearby? Any info would be appreciated you can hit me up on my Channel email or Facebook Page, thanks !!
