Felt it in my soul when Bill said "Goodbye old girl, we'll see you round!" bout made me tear up knowing the situation and how hard it is in general to get rid of an old project car. Had to sell my 78 Trans Am I built with my Dad because of medical issues and not being able to keep up with owning an old car, so maybe it just resonated extra hard with me. That family is wonderful and I wish them all the best through what is undoubtedly a challenging time. I have no doubts you guys are going to do this car right like y'all always do...do Bill proud guys.

My mother told me a story years ago about a time when packing with some horses in steep terrain one of the horses spooked and tumbled down the side of the mountain. The man who went down found the horse entangled about the neck in some rigging and shrubs. Having no knife to cut the rigging he called up for one. My mother looked at me and with a look of disbelief and disgust said, " Can you imagine!! A man with no knife?!!". Dont ever be that man with no knife.

Excellent video. It hit close to home. I was discharged from the US Army in 1969, and I bought a brand new Dodge Charger. I still wish I had kept it. I get a shiver every time I see that pretty green beast.

Congratulations on 100K, y’all deserve it. The exceptional care and work I seen you put into the vehicles makes me want to bring my 2006 F-250 to you, primarily for a repaint, and I’m in Dallas TX.

Brilliant news on both gaining your 100k Subs, glad I;m one of the many. Even greater news in you getting the chance of a fantastic garage find, and that it will create a smile in such circumstances. The vid of Matt buying all those 'GOOD' lunchies will be worth waching too Again, well done on the milestone.

Beautiful car, a true relic. Congratulations on getting the car, almost like Paul on his "barn find"😆 Couldn't think of anyone better to restore that beautiful Mopar, than Robby & his gang. I'm a Chevy guy, but i do like the old Mopar muscle cars as well. Robby can agree to the old saying "Mopar or no car"😆😆

Congratulations on the car and the 100,000 subscriber with KZread. It's well deserved. You and you're crew have awesome content. I followed you're channel through the Golden Nugget builds. I have subscribed to everyone who has been working on it for Ed. You should say thanks to Matt because I know a lot of people followed the Golden Nugget.

That's right up there with Paul's Pontiac!!! I can't wait to see this care restored to its former glory. So sad for the owner to have to sell, I wish him well as he fights the cancer, maybe God will grant him a reprieve, He is gracious. But he knows his baby is now with a family who will love the car as much as he has. Treat 'er well, Robbie!

What a great video guys! You guys are so respectful to everyone you meet your parents raised all of guys correctly. I’m glad the brothers owner contacted you and I believe you’ll do the owner proud rebuilding the car. I hope you get it finished before he passes I’m sure it would lift his spirits greatly. May God bless you and the owner you bought it from keep him in your prayers.

1974. After the bar closed, crowds would gather on the sidewalks and watch the street racers. AMC Javelin, Camaro, GTO, Roadrunner, Torino (red with a white stripe made popular from tv show Starsky and Hutch), Dodge Challenger and Charger. All the muscle cars. The goal was to see who had the fastest car while at the same time avoiding the cops who wanted to give tickets to street racers. Two cars side by side at the traffic light, green light, go, put the pedal to the metal! With the rear posi traction, a Challenger or Charger would smoke the competition every time! You have yourself a great machine there!
