I love that you take the Laymo off-road, rather than just use it like a novelty to park at a car show, or cruise the mall in.

It has seen more trails then the majority of off road vehicles.

One of the very first times he's ever been rock crawling was in this limo!! That's impressive.

Very good video, what's the possibility of making the "Lay"mo 4 wheel steer??
Robby, now we all know why you are so far behind at the shop😂
No worries with Robby around he isn't afraid to get dirty or work. This is what I like about Robby. Hard working man 💪
Glad that it kind of buffed out. The shenanigans you guys get yourself in to! Oh Mercy
Robby continues to impress with his abilities and his humor!
Oversteer & rear steer would be a nice project for the laymo I believe
What good is carrying a spare tire if the truck doesn't also carry the jack and lugnut wrench to complete the change?? Should be in there somewhere.

Also the paint is really soft for being an off road vehicle
Robby, with such a positive spirit like yours, you can overcome any obstacle.
LMTV - Light Medium Tactical Vehicle. There is only one major issue you have to deal with on those trucks - lateral roll angle. Since it sits so high, you always have to worry about it tipping over. The military vehicles have a roll gauge on the dash to help out with the roll angle.

I love to see that you use the Laymo in all sorts of ways. And it may become a great flagship for your shop once the bodywork is all done. I wonder, would rear steer be feasible? Oh and don't blame Hillbilly, nobody ain't seen nothing 😉.
The Laymo could really do with rear steer for those sharp corners.
I love seeing the cross overs between you and sparks motors. Bud fits your group so well!! I love him on your channel hope he gets to be on it more!!
I don't know if Robbie gets enough credit for how quick-witted and intelligent he is pretty impressive my opinion
Alls well that ends well, have a good week and count your blessings amen.
Love the that you now need to keep sockets just never know what you might need but gotta love when a plan comes together and you have the right stuff👍
Best video yet. Cool RV! Beautiful country. Dam.
For folks who are completely sober at the time, you are hilarious!
It's crazy how capable the laymo is!
Rear steering is the answer for that old LAMO ! 😊 ❤
Pretty cool vehicle! Cool owners also if they were not too upset about the scratches. You all have an awesome weekend!
As someone who used to drive these there were multiple times i caught myself talking to my screen. The CTIS system (central tire inflation system) is the box down near your right foot only thing you had to do was hit the button and it does its thing each mode has different tire pressures for terrain. All in all great video. Also one thing if i remembered correctly they are all wheel drive all the time.

Weird that they could not change the tire without tools for the wheelbolts and a jack from the shop, i expected that to be on the truck.
@15mroush

@Abb0able they do normally have everything to change the tire and so on. Not sure if this on did being a non government vehicle anymore.
Having Bud with ya adds alittle spice or another viewpoint. C ya !
Thank you for sharing your adventure. I always enjoy watching your videos.
Awesome video guys! Y'all should Collab with Sparks Motors more often! Great adventure!
Thanks for taking me along 👍😀
Glad I’m not the only one that struggles with changing tires on an LMTV. It is a fun truck as long as you do the maintenance. P.S. Let the owner know there should be bead lock hardware in those tires. Keep it from falling off the rim like that.
Great experiment video 😂....looked like lotsa work....lol....thanks for sharing this with us
Awesome video. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep making.. God bless.
Great to see Demri getting some camera time!
Good times! Such enjoying videos; we love you guys and your shenanigans!
Robby you guys had way too much fun 😂
Hillbilly just jumps in and does all the hard work! I always liked him but have a new appreciation for him! He just does the hard lifting and does not complain!
Thank you for the view of Ephraim. I miss Sanpete because of the views of nature
I think a rear steer upgrade is in order for the laymo, and as for the latest I'm sure hillbilly feels awful but that is what that rig is built for I'd do a urethane (rhino liner) paint job and make it bulletproof
If there was ever a vehicle begging for rear steer, it that Lay-mo, but I still love it. It’s amazing that it’s actually getting used offroad.
Snow college did a big presentation honoring my great uncle and his contributions about 10 years ago. Albert Golden Kilbourn. He was a professor who taught at Snow and eventually Utah State. My Grandfather Hyrum Parley Kilburn also taught at Snow at one point. He was Head of Utah Youth Authority in the 1950s before moving to California to become Dean of Bakersfield College.
This was the funniest video posted. Monkey & football comes to mind. Was having a bad day until I saw this - thanks for the laugh. 🤣😂🤣
The Laymo needs rear steer for sure!!😀
Robby this was definitely a fun video and I will be honest going for a ride in the laymo off road vehicle would be a lot of fun and a good way to ride in style and have a good time all in one. The boss was having a good time you could tell and seeing her happy is a great thing.
Love that LMTV build...Great Laymo off road...lots of fin...
That is a good looking RV. The Laymo needs rear steer!
Very entertaining content 😉. Thanks for sharing.
lol ok this was too fun, now Kole Now knows he will definitely get into trouble hanging out with Robbie. Too fun 🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️
Great video and keep up the good work God bless from GA and you definitely need to put rear steering onto laymo
Awesome to see Bud again 🎉🍻
I’ve wanted an expedition RV forever and with the LMTV’s circulating out of service going to be seeing a lot more affordable set ups, one day I’ll be hitting Moab in my set up. This rig is perfect!!!
Koles mullet is looking epic
Confession: at first, I thought that the Laymo was the most ridiculous thing I had ever seen. You made me a believer, Robbie! I love that thing now!
The technical manual for the LMTV is available online. You could have brought it up on your phone to find out how to use the CTIS (Central Tire Inflation System). It would be literally as easy as pressing the correct button. The controller is attached to the face of the dash, down towards the floor, about dead center of the truck. I think this is the M1079, which is much sought after and more rare as it has the communications shelter on it. The most common one is the M1078, which has a bed on the back, but is otherwise the same truck.

You guys have way too much fun you must love your life right now such a great group of you tubers Matt Fab Rats Chads you guys are very entertaining by the way Demeri has very beautiful eyes
Hey you can always have Bud come rescue the "MTYCrib" with his Ranger. Lol
This is different . Thanks for sharing .
That off road vehicle is dope y'all always play with the best toys😁👊🇺🇸🙏😎
super fun to watch and that motor home needed a walk through the back. But cool fun adventure
Super fun video as always
OMG! GONG SHOW! LMAO!
5 Rules of Laymo: Dodge, Duck, Dive, Dip and Dodge! When we getting a Demri Layton youtube 🙂
We know y'all call it "big stretch" round the shop lol .... keep the videos a comin and the laughs a rollin... 👍👍 🐌☕🐢
Holy alignment on the Laymo batman!😂
Great video!
Laymo for the win! The Stewart Stevenson needs a hydraulic or air jack system to do two things. 1. Level the truck when camping 2. change tires. Class A RV's have them.
As usual great stuff.
Need to put rear steer on the laymo make it a lot easier to drive
Love the Overlander!
He just took down a whole tree 😂😂😂 I hope that buff out
If it all goes to plan its not an adventure. Thanks for the video
So, that rig doesn't have the tools onboard required to do a tire change? Sheez. Laymo to the rescue. Looks like fun was mostly had.
The Laymo with Sparks Motors custom tracks, how dang amazing would that be!!!! Heck to the ya!!!! We need that in our life's and so do you!!!
So much fun! I would like a how to on buffing out scratches.
Good testing of the capabilities of the Truck , you found a few weak spots, like, paint and tires 🤣🤣 don’t forget to send in recommendations to the manufacturer 😅😅
Nice, would have loved to see the inside.
Rocky mountain pin stripes should be a standard paint option. Good for any vehicle that you take out into the woods.
Next need to add some portal axels. Lol. Awesome as always.
You should take the Laymo on one of Matt's recoveries and give the owners of the vehicle a nice ride out while he tows their vehicle.
The Layton Laymooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙👍👍👌👌
Anybody else think Bud and Hillbilly need to have their own channel? That’s some quality content right there!
Hey Robby you do know that on the lmtv/ fmtv vehicles that of you want to start the truck with the can in the air you can do it without getting into the cab! Find the red toggle switches by the shock tower and flip them on! Also if you want the ctis system to turn on just change it from sand mode to highway mode it is automatic!
LMTV is Light Medium Tactical Vehicle. As you found out, the CTIS (Central Tire Inflation System) is a cool idea, but when we were in Iraq we found that they only work right when you don't need it, when you do need it they never work right. Same for the air powered spare tire lift. What we found is that since it is rarely used, the seals all dry out so when you do need it, well, it seems to always have problems. Very capable vehicle off road, but top heavy so you have to watch out for roll overs. Cool that they built a camper on it, great video!!
Bud is my hero.
Hang onto them.....When you need an inch and five eights where are you going to go. One new socket along with a half to three quarters adapter will cost you more than the Snap-On man will give you for the whole set. If you have a 3/4 drive ratchet chrome it-mount it with it's sockets and accessories to the wall in your office. Sand blast the storage box and give it a custom paint job with chrome hinges, and handle. Don't forget to clean and polish the sockets and the rest of the goodies. Use what ever color that will look best to highlight the socket sizes. When people see that 3/4 or 1 inch drive set on the walls they'll know your a pro with a problem that a psych doc might be able to help you with.
Can always put some quick disconnect sway bars on the ol limo 👍🏻 fix it up for on road use
Hey, that's a Steyr 12M18, we have these in the Austrian Army. Steyr is where they also designed (and still build) the G Wagen.
Ohhhhh wellll 😂 love bud
With all due respect, the bosses laugh is adorable! 😁🙂
Time to add rear steer to the Lymo.🤣😂🤣🤪
UP NEXT: The White Trash Camper!!! Robbie & Hillbilly cut off the Limo from the front seats back, and add a 12 passenger RV, w/ 2 bump outs!, and a dully axel! lol!
If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball 😂i love that movie lol
That was cool
What fun!
That there is an LMNOP! Ya need to add rear stear to the Laymo!
Robby, the limo is a truly novel vehicle. Glad that it's worked out.
I think that’s the first time “that sh*t will buff out” was actually the truth. Awesome!
Y'all have reaped the investment on the buy, build, and off road readiness. Good times for all 😂😂😂😂. Them scratches will buff out😅😅😅
Those LMTVs will go anywhere, at least with a skilled driver. I've wanted to buy one with the 'communications shelter' to turn into an off road camper van. There's also the MTV which is the six wheel version. The LMTV replaced the Deuce and a half and fits right between the Humvee cargo and the 5 ton in carrying capacity. It's also got an automatic air system for the tires.
Grind Hard Plumbing has a 4x4 limo but it's of suburban design. Smiles 😃 from Canada 🇨🇦
Please put in a roll cage, some light bars all around oh man it'd be Ballin in the lifted laymo!
That Was A Real Deal For Sure, But COOL 😃
The Laymo needs rear steer for those tight turns!
