Do you like nature or primal violence. I see the balance. Some feint of heart cant accept nature is not always beautiful. Its tragic. But for the death of 2 whom were 2 slow. Leaves room for others to grow strong and pass traits to next generation. But I will say anyone with a slight but of empathy will for bad for the baby and its mom.

To layer music over such a raw act in nature is just absolutely stupid

Music helps to emphasise an event... it helps to strengthen an emotional response, or to guide that response to a particular emotion. It depends on what you're going for in a video (excepting technical reasons such as this one).

I was just thinking how bad I feel not being a vegan, but then also thought about how gently we can raise animals for their best welfare and most peaceful death. (I'm a vegetarian at the moment, but that's worse than only eating meat. Think milk cows and egg hens.)

Is it me or does it look like the other buffalo's were trying to help the lions instead?? Seriously at 1:13 in the video the approaching buffalo attacks the captured buffalo like some Mafia thug saying "This is what happens when you do the family wrong Saul."

Those buffalo are dangerous as hell especially when they use their numbers to chase off lions but lions have been playing this game with buffalo for a long time and know how its done.They don't always succeed but when they isolate one ,especially a mother with calf its like getting an appetizer with your meal.

Lions are incredible beasts and of all the cats, their hunting style is my favorite to watch. It's a weird feeling watching predators take down their prey because I feel bad for the animal who's dying slowly and terrified, but I feel good for the hunters because they get to eat and live another day.

'Easily'. Do you see the humans who stand around whilst one is being attacked? It's not how 'easy' it is, but how beneficial to oneself and one's community it is. The buffalo do better by sacrificing one of them so that others can get away without injury, instead of losing one and possibly two more, or having one die and two be gravely injured.

It's nice to see the real version of this video, I saw why Silver Eye lioness was off to the side, she was killing cubs in her pride, I can't remember the name of the documentary, anyway this is Fantastic. Some of the comments on this video are really funny lol

The King had a little lunch all to himself, sweet. These cats can't live off of rabbits and birds that fall to the ground, and we're spoiled as humans to be able to microwave a burrito when we want to. I can't even begin to wrap my mind around being a species that has to do this to eat to live.

Calves can be too actually. There's a three video series of a lion pride trying to kill a cape buffalo calf that's being protected by a rogue male. Took a long time for them to kill the calf.

Survival of the fittest, tough world to be in!

The two Buffaloes wanted to help. But finally decided not to risk their lives trying to save their friend, wise choice. Especially with the rest of The Lion Pride coming.
